Kolkata, Oct 1 (IANS) Sports Authority of India (SAI)’s Roushan Kumar scored a double hat-trick as his side hammered Entally AC 10-0 in a Beighton Cup hockey tournament encounter at the SAI ground here on Thursday.
For the winners, the others who got into the scoresheet were Nadim Hussain, Prabir Toppo, Anand Champia and Sanjay Paswan.
In another game, East Coast Railway beat Police AC by a 4-1 margin. Dilip Karketta scored a brace along with David Minz and Joseph Toppo who netted once each for the Railway team. For Police AC Pritam Mistry pulled one back.
The third contest of the day was also a goal feast as Assam Regiment beat AG Bengal 4-1.
Ramen Kumar Singh, M. Chittranajan Singh, T.H. Banti Singh, Chandmoni Boro struck for Assam while the only goal scored for AG Bengal was from the stick of Varinder Singh Gill.
