Second COVID-19 Positive Patient Discharged from Hospital in Udupi
Udupi: The second COVID-19 positive patient who was admitted to TMA Pai District COVID-19 hospital was discharged on April 14.
A 35-year-old novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infected man was discharged by the health officials from the isolation ward of the TMA Pai District COVID-19 hospital and sent home after his last two tests were found negative.
The 35-year-old man from Kaup had returned from Dubai recently and was initially admitted to the hospital in Karkala on March 27 with complaints of cough, fever, and shortness of breath. His throat swab was tested positive for COVID-19. He was later shifted to the TMA Pai District COVID-19 hospital.
His repeat test was found negative and was advised discharge. He is advised home quarantine as per the guidelines.
