Second PU Student Drowns in Sea at Kodi Beach
Kundapur: A 18-year-old second PU student drowned at Kodi beach under Kundapur Police Station limits on Sunday, September 30.
The drowned person has been identified as Manoj Poojary (18) Son of Manjunath Poojary a resident of Kodi.
According to the sources Manoj Poojary had gone to Kodi Beach after playing volleyball with friends and while taking a dip in the sea he was dragged by a giant wave. Manoj is feared dead, the police and local people have launched a search operation for Manoj.
Manoj was studying in 2nd PUC at Barry’s PU College Koteshwar, Kundapur.
A case has been registered in Kundpaur Police Station.
