Seniors’ Trusted Caretaker Vanishes with Rs 6.78-lakh Gold
Mangaluru: Ashwini Kumar, a resident of Bejai Kapikad, has engaged S P Manjunath as caretaker for his aged parents. He had earned their trust by showing dedication at work for the last few months.
On June 13, Manjunath had gone to buy provisions from a store and has not returned. On verification, a bag containing jewellery weighing 260 gms and valued at RS 6.78 lakh was missing. It is suspected that Manjunath has decamped with it since there was no one else visiting the house.
A complaint against Manjunath has been filed in Urwa police station.
