Mangaluru: Shalimar Liverpool, a one of its kind residential arena located at Bendorewell, which is built like no other was inaugurated today by Chief guest- Suresh Ballal-Chairman of MUDA, along with other dignitaries namely- D B Mehta- President of CREDAI-Mangaluru; Naveen D’Souza- area MCC corporator; Ysuf K- Suribail (Father of Basheer, one of the Director of Shalimar Builders; and the three directors of Shalimar Builders and Promoters- Shabeer, Basheer and Abdul Raheem. But noteworthy is the fact that the chaos and commotion of the city is not evident at Shalimar Liverpool as it is situated amidst verdant greenery that is sure to provide plenty of quietude.
The inaugural function began with a “dua” rendered by Sahal, son of Basheer, followed by reciting a few verses from the Quran by Zayam, son of Abdul Raheem . The welcome address was delivered by Basheer, where he expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God Allah, for showering his blessings on this prestigious and unique distinctive grandeur edifice to be completed in time without any hurdles. He also thanked his dad, Ysuf, for his constant support and encouragement all these years.
Addressing the gathering, Suresh Ballal said, ” I need to compliment the Shalimar Group which has a humble beginning way back in 1989 when it was started primarily into wholesale ready-made garments across Karnataka and North Kerala. From a small business, it has now grown to greater heights by entering into the foray of Construction. The three directors who formed the Shalimar Builders and Promoters is the coming together of like-minded contemporaries, who sought to accomplish new missions in diverse and unexplored areas. I feel very proud today because I laid the foundation stone for this project, and today I am also inaugurating this prestigious edifice”.

Also speaking during the occasion D B Mehta said, ” During one of the recent function of CREDAI, Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu- the Union Minister of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Information and Broadcasting said that builders are the nation builders. And as a president of local Credai, I feel proud of this statement made by the minister. Yes, builders are responsible for the infrastructure of a city, construction of museums, historic monuments and many other sightseeing places. CREDAI Mangaluru was formally registered and launched on 15th July 2008, which is a district level body, which is affiliated to CREDAI Karnataka, and addresses the district level problems and members meet on a regular basis to share industry information, address and resolve any concerns.
