Shyamala Bhandary Elected to Karnataka State Bar Council

Kundapur: Senior advocate Shyamala Bhandary of Kundapur has been elected as a member of the Karnataka State Bar Council following the Karnataka State Bar Council elections held in Bengaluru.

Her election marks a historic milestone, as she becomes the first woman from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts to be elected to the Karnataka State Bar Council.

A distinguished senior advocate, Bhandary is widely recognised for her contributions to social causes and her commitment to women’s empowerment. She has rendered notable service in the social, educational, and legal sectors and has played an active role in several organisations, earning widespread respect in public life.

She is currently serving as the President of the Karnataka State Notary Advocates’ Association.
