London, April 6 (IANS) TV mogul Simon Cowell says his 13-month-old son Eric believes himself to be a dog!

The 55-year-old says his son believes he’s a four-legged animal because he has grown up around Cowell’s pooches, Squiddly and Diddly, dailymail.co.uk.

“He’s walking now — and he walks like the Duracell Bunny. Part of him also thinks he’s still a dog, because he’s grown up around the dogs,” Cowell said.

The father finds a lot of similarities from his own childhood days in his son.

“He’s like I was when I was a kid. Or maybe a bit nicer. I think I was a bit of a brat,” he added.

Cowell added that Eric is becoming more like him as the days go by, as they often spend time together in the middle of the night when he gets home from a long day of work.

“Because I work late, Eric knows that if he cries in the middle of the night, the chances are I’ll be awake. He’s worked out I’ll go to him. It’s lovely, actually.

“In the past every time I saw babies they were crying, but when you spend a bit more time with them you see them settling down, their little characters developing. They start to take on a bit of your personality.”
