SKSS Stages Protest Against Two women Entering Sabarimala Temple
Mangaluru: Sabarimala Kshethra Samrakshana Samiti staged a protest against the Kerala government for allowing two women to enter the Shabarimala Temple, in the Gandhi park, near Town Hall here on January 3.
Ayappa devotee Vishwanath addressing the protestors said, “I am going to Sabarimala temple from the past 32 years. This is the first time women have entered the Sabarimala temple in the night with police protection. The Supreme Court said that women can enter the temple but the Kerala government should not implement it. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is the main reason for women to enter the Shabarimala temple which we all condemn”.
Hindu Jagarana Vedike member Kishore said, “Women entering the Shabarimala Temple have hurt the sentiments of the Hindus, they have gone against the Hindu Gods. Pinarayi Vijayan should think that Hindus are united and they are ready for any sacrifices. Pinarayi says that the Supreme Court order will be implemented. The Kerala government is working against the Hindu community and now the Hindu community is ready to protect the Hindu Society in Kerala. 112 cases have been filed against Surendra who is an active member of Hindu organization in Kerala. There is a continuous process to finish the Hindu Society. Today is our symbolic protest, in the coming days, we will intensify our protest. Pinarayi Vijayan’s time is over, Hindus will not sit quiet, he will face the consequences for allowing women to enter the Shabarimala Temple with police protection.”
Addressing the protesters Kasturi Panja said, “Kanaka Durga and Bindu entered the Shabarimala temple and now 45 lakh women are getting down to the streets to protest against two women who have entered the Sabarimala Temple. Both these women entered the Temple because of the CM of Kerala. I think with the help of other religions these two women have entered the Sabarimala Temple. We believe in God and Goddesses. In some houses, elders do not allow women to enter God’s room because it is the custom that has come from our forefathers. The CM of Kerala has no time to listen to the grievences of women when they are abused but has time to protect two women who entered the Shabarimala temple. We have the blessings of God, all Hindus should be united in this fight for justice”.
Kasturi Panja further said, “If we women are not allowed to enter the temple for the sake of our religion it is ok with us, we will not forcibly enter the temple. If our religion is in trouble we will fight. We do not need equality if there is no permission to enter the temple. When little children were raped why those intellectuals did not raise their voice. We are respected by our brothers, they treat women like goddesses. In the next elections, the Kerala government led by Pinarayi Vijayan will be given a befitting reply. We respect our religion, in Sabarimala Temple women from 10 to 50 years of age are not allowed to enter which we all know. Before entering the Shabarimala temple one should live a pious life for 48 days. Let God give Pinarayi Vijayan a sound mind”.
Addressing the protestors Bajrang Dal Convenor Sharan Pumpwell said, “We are striving hard to retain the sanctity of Sabarimala Temple. Two women have entered the Sabarimala temple and offered prayers. Later the Hindu Community gave a befitting reply to the Kerala Government. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is saying that we have created history by allowing women to enter the Sabarimala Temple but according to me, it will be history when the Communist government will vanish from Kerala.”
Sharan further said, “Some people insult Hindu Gods, some click selfies keeping their hand on Koti Chennaya’s mother’s statue. Communists, Muslims, British, Christians have looted our country. They had come to our country to loot us and have tried to destroy our culture and tradition. What is the connection and reason for Muslim and Catholic women to enter the Sabarimala temple? When we browsed the net to find out who Fathima Rehman was, we found many of her nude pics on the net. They do not believe in God, then why go to the Sabarimala Temple? There is a conspiracy to convert Hindus, there is involvement of the Christian missionaries, Jihadi Muslims and Communists to destroy the Hindu Society. The CM of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan is supporting those who are against the Hindu society, he is an agent of anti-Hindus. Pinarayi wants to destroy Hindus in Kerala. People in Kerala are fighting for justice, many have gone to jail. Yesterday two women succeeded to enter the Sabarimala temple.
Sharan also said, “Kerala Hindus will not give up, they will fight for justice and stop women from entering the temple. Till we get justice our fight will continue. I wanted to tell the communists that we want to maintain peace and harmony in the district. I just now received the news that a Communist party office was set on fire in B C Road, we do not know who set the fire. I request the communists to inform the CM of Kerala to stop supporting women entering the Sabarimala temple. We will continue our protest until we get justice. The presidents’ rule should be implemented in Kerala. In the coming days, Hindus in Kerala will stage a protest creating a human chain and they need our support,” he said.
