Sodality of Immaculate Conception Donates Wheel Chairs to Government Wenlock Hospital
Mangaluru: Members of the Sodality of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mangalore donated two wheelchairs to the Government Wenlock Hospital Mangalore on 06 September 2019.
Dr Jacintha D’Souza, In-charge Medical Officer explained to the members the achievements of the hospital during the past few years, She also informed that the hospital has received National, State and District level awards because of the hard work and dedicated services of the doctors, nurses and support from the local authorities and the general public. She informed that at present there are about 1000 beds.
The hospital has 12 dialysis’s machines and that dialysis is done free of cost to all.
Residential Medical Officer DR Julian Saldanha, Dr Vijyakumar, Nursing Superintendent Sarojini, Sodality President Vivian Sequeira, Vice President Michael Menezes, Secretary Ligoury Fernandes, Treasurer Sushil Noronha, Governing Council member Rudolph D`Silva and Lawrence Pinto were present.
