Supreme Court Rejects Bail Plea of Rajeshwari Shetty
Udupi: The Supreme Court here on Thursday, August 10 rejected the bail plea of Rajeshwari Shetty, one of the three main accused in the Bhaskar Shetty murder case.
The High Court judge rejected the bail plea of Rajewsari Shetty. The judge upheld the High court judgment and rejected the bail plea. The court instructed to complete the lower court inquiry. After completing the lower court inquiry, only then can the court can take up the case for inquiry.
Bhaskar Shetty, an Hotelier and businessman, who owned big businesses in Saudi Arabia and Udupi, went missing from his house here on 28 July 2016, and his mother Gulabi Shetty had lodged a missing persons complaint at the Manipal police station on July 29.
The police arrested Rajeshwari Shetty and their son, Navneeth, on charges of murder on August 7, 2016.
