Suratkal Police Rescue 22 Cows from Traffickers

Mangaluru: The Suratkal Police seized a pick-up and rescued 22 cows from traffickers while being transported in inhumane conditions near Mallamar beach at Suratkal Toll gate here on August 18.

The police rescued 16 cows and 6 calf from the traffickers.

During the rescue operations one calf had died and three of the cows were in critical condition.

The members of the Hindu Jagarana Vedike Suratkal helped the police take care of the cows.

In the coming days if Cow trafficking will not be stopped HJV will join hands with the police and work towards stopping Cattle trafficking.

  1. ‘Traffickers’? That’s all? No other description of these ‘traffickers’, uh? I guess their names are ganesha bhatta and ramesha bhatta, right? Also, was it a legal trafficking or illegal? Report doesn’t say anything.

    It’s one thing to treat animals in this inhumane way. But the lack of courage and honesty on the part of media is even more depressing. I guess the media is fully bullied into silence by one particular community. Otherwise, how do you explain a total silence by media on non-stop bad behavior and anti-national activities by one community? Even when people from Bhatkala and Kasaragodu area were caught for supporting pakistan/ISIS, our media was shamelessly hiding under desk. When will this change? Do we need a yogi adityanath in Karnataka?
