The State of Ohio salutes Honorable Harold D’Souza in USA

Ohio, USA: State Senator Teresa Fedor and State Representative Tavia Golanski honored Harold D’Souza stating; “You are a remarkable person, combining civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the fight against human trafficking. The work you do as an advocate is truly inspiring. Your commitment to building a world in which everyone is free is a powerful testament to your strength and respect for all”.

This auspicious event, the 10th Annual Ohio Human Trafficking Awareness Day was celebrated on February 28th, at The Ohio Statehouse, Columbus. It was attended by top dignitaries, Attorney General Dave Yost, State Senator Stephanie Kunze, State Senator Hearcel Craig, State Senator Teresa Fedor and State Representative Tavia Galonski from The State of Ohio.

In the Survivor Panel: Hear their Voices, Honorable Harold D’Souza said; “I want to thank Senator Teresa Fedor and every delegate sitting here that you all have four valuable qualities of being happy, humble, honest and human. This is the reason we all survivors are living our life happily. Trauma has no expiration date. Today my tears of pain, trauma and agony have dried out. I have tears of joy, happiness, emotions, feelings and sentiments”. More than 200 delegates gave a standing ovation to all happy survivors now thriving.

The General Assembly of The State of Ohio presented Honorable Harold D’Souza with a prestigious certificate stating; “Willingly giving your time, energy, and abilities, you continue striving to better the world around you. Through your generous contributions, you have earned the respect and esteem of the entire community. We are certain that in the years to come, you will continue demonstrating the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which you have become known. You are truly deserving of high praise.

Harold said; “Survivors sharpen survivors. Survivors sharpen society, to sharpen your skills be connected with smiling survivors”.

State Senator Teresa Fedor and State Representative Tavia Golanski complimented Harold D’Souza saying; “Thus, with sincere pleasure, we commend you on your exemplary record of community service. We salute you as one of Ohio’s finest citizens, and we thank you for your dedication to eradicating human trafficking.

Harold son of Henry and Cecilia D’Souza, a native of Bajpe, Mangalore has definitely exemplified; “More gold has been mined from the thoughts of a man than has ever been taken from the earth.” A human mind with the ability to think well is like a diamond mine that never runs out. It’s priceless.
