Thieves steal Gold and Silver Ornaments from Durgambika Temple Byndoor
Kundapur: Gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 3.25 lakh were stolen from Durgambika Temple at Heroor near Byndoor on March 28.
According to the police, thieves entered the Temple, broke open the lock and decamped with gold and silver ornaments which were on the idol of Goddess Durgambika Devi.
The incident came to light when the Temple priest Ramaiah Balegar came to the Temple on March 29 morning. He immediately informed to Temple Trustee Mahabala Shetty. The police along with forensic experts and canine squad visited the spot for investigations.
A case has been registered in the Byndoor Police Station.
