Three Arrested by EOND Police For Peddling Drugs at Lalbagh
Mangaluru: The Economic offense and Narcotic Drugs Police arrested three youth while they were peddling Ganja near KSRTC Road, Lalbagh here on August 18.
The arrested have been identified as Rafiq (30), Sayyed Shafid (30) and Mallikarjun (30) from Sakaleshpur.
According to the EOND police, on August 18, Rafiq, Sayyed and Mallikarjun were waiting at the KSRTC Road, Lalbagh for customers coming to buy Ganja. The EOND police who were on duty found the above-mentioned persons waiting for the customers at the KSRTC road.
The police who got suspicious nabbed all the three and seized 3.5 kgs Ganja, 3 mobiles and Rs 550 all amounting to Rs 58,550/- from their possession.
Under the able direction of Police commissioner T R Suresh, DCP Law and Order Hanumantharaya, DCP Crime and Traffic Uma Prashanth, the operation was carried out by the EOND Inspector Mohammed Sheriff, Sub Inspector Manjula, Lakshmish, Jagadish, Shaju Nair and Kishore Poojary.
