February 26 is celebrated as Environment Day in Qatar. And so to increase awareness about our environment I wrote a small poem for our Creative Corner of our class bulletin board.

Trees


Trees are shady, trees are tall.
Trees give us medicine, fruit and all.
Mangoes, apples and oranges they share,
For you and me; here and there.
The favourite fruit I like to eat
is mango, for it is very sweet.
We can climb trees and be the king of kings.
on the branches there are birds that sing.
So do not cut trees,
But leave them free!
