Two-wheeler Rider Killed on Spot in Road Mishap at Sullia
Sullia: In a tragic road accident a youth died on the spot after a tipper lorry ran over him near Sullia Town Panchayat here on November 27.
The deceased has been identified as Avin, son of Venkappa from Alamkalya, Sullia.
According to sources, on November 27, Avin was on his way to his shop near Yuvajana Samyukta Mandali, on his two-wheeler. Near the Fish Market, where a number of lorries were parked on the road to unload the fish. While Avin tried to overtake a tipper plying on the same road his two-wheeler hit kerb stone throwing Avin on to the road.
Unfortunately, the tipper ran over Avin’s head killing him on the spot. Sullia Police have registered a case.
