Two Youth Congress Members Brutally Murdered in Periya
Kasargod: Two Youth Congress members have been brutally murdered in Periya on February 17, night.
The deceased have been identified as Krapesh (24) and Sharat (21), both active members of the Youth Congress.
According to sources, on February 17, at around 8:00 pm, Krapesh aand Sharat were travelling on the bike, when they reached near Periya a group came in a car, waylaid their bike and assaulted them with weapons.
Krapesh died on the spot. Sharat was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to injuries on the way. It is suspected that enmity may have led to the murder.
Immediately after the incident the police got into action and took all necessary measures to control the situation from going out of control. UDF has called a protest against the brutal murder of Krapesh and Sharat.
