Two Youth from Tumakuru Drown in Sea at Ullal
Mangaluru: Two youth have drowned in Sea at Mogaveerpattana Ullal here on June 28.
The youth have been identified as Ayaz alias Chotu (19) and Shahrukh (19) from Shira Tumakuru.
According to sources, a group of 10 people had come to Ullal to visit the Dargah. After visiting the Dargah all of them went to the beach at Mogaveerpattana. Four youth including Ayaz and Shahrukh got into the sea to have a dip. When they were having fun in the water, they were suddenly pulled by strong currents into the sea.
The locals who were nearby succeeded to rescue two of them but Ayaz and Shahrukh have been missing and are feared dead. The search is on for Ayaz and Shahrukh.
The sea has been rough since many days and it is not advisable to anyone to get into the sea.
