“A teacher has special respect in the society. The selfless service of teachers in educating young minds of Udupi district has made us proud. The first place in SSLC examination, second place in PUC and CET examinations at state level are a testimony of the quality teaching in our schools. The 8th rank in Civil Service examination is a feather to our cap. A recent survey indicates that Udupi district is leading in imparting quality education. The government has initiated efficient measures to improve the education system,” he said.

Bishop Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo in his presidential message said that teachers should love their students along with their profession and the institution, only then can they succeed.” Teaching is a divine profession and the teacher should work towards building future citizens,” he added.
