Udupi Dist Women’s Congress Celebrates Priyanka Gandhi’s Appointment as Gen Secretary
Udupi: The Udupi district Congress on Friday, January 25 celebrated Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s appointment as the AICC General Secretary in front of the District Congress Bhavan, Brahmagiri.
Party workers distributed sweets and celebrated Priyanka Gandhi’s appointment as AICC General Secretary.
Udupi District Congress president Janardhan Tonse, congratulated Priyanka Gandhi and described her as “an able administrator. People support Priyanka immensely as they see former PM Indira Gandhi in her. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is having sleepless nights. The Congress will sweep the upcoming Lok Sabha polls under Priyanka Gandhi,” he added.
KPCC secretary Veronica Cornelio, District Congress women’s wing Vice President Joythi Hebbar, RGPRS district Convener Roshni Oliver, Jayshree Krishna Raj, Sarala Kanchan, Sarasu D Bangera and others were present.
