Udupi: Four persons are said to be assaulted by miscreants in Belapu during the night here on December 6.
The injured has been identified as Rajesh, Ashok, Kishore and Dinesh residents of Payyar Sooryanagara near Belapu.
All the four are said to be severely injured and are now undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Ajjarkad.
The District Superintendent of Police Annamalai K has visited Belapu in this regard and investigation is on.
A case has been registered in Shirva Police Station.
