Udupi: Robbers fail to break Manipura co-operative society locker, take away Computer Monitor

Udupi: An attempt to break-in and loot the Manipura Meenugarara Vividoddesha Prathamika Sahakari Sangha foiled in the wee hours of Monday March 30.

According to the police sources, the incident occurred during the wee hours of Monday. The robbers entered the bank by breaking the front shutter. They managed to break the locks but could not open the main locker. As they could not find any cash after much effort, they decamped with the Computer monitor. The incident came to light when the society president who is residing nearby heard the sound, inside the society and came to check.

Additional SP Santhosh Kumar, Kaup CPI Sunil Naik, SI Manjappa, Laxman and others were visited the spot. A Case has been registered in Kaup Police Station.
