Video of Priest Manhandling Elderly in Periyalthadka Goes Viral
Mangaluru: In a shocking incident, a video of a priest from Christ King Parish, Manela, Periyalthadka manhandling an elderly couple has gone viral on social media.
According to the CCTV footage, a priest was dragging an old man near the car and taking him towards a house. When the old man’s wife was trying to stop the priest from dragging the old man, the priest was seen kicking the old woman.

It is learnt that on February 29, the parish priest of Christ King Church, Manela, Periyalthadka came to the house of 79-year-old Gregory Monteiro for the house blessing. The priest also caught hold of the old man’s shirt collar and dragged him to some distance to a nearby house. The incident was recorded on a CCTV camera.
In this connection, a case has been registered at the Vittal police station and an investigation is on.
