Yenepoya Holds Student Council Installation During Annual Day
Mangaluru: The Student Council of Yenepoya Dental College conducted the Annual Day and Student Council Installation on 22nd March 2024 in the Dental College Auditorium at 10:00 am.
Principal Dr Laxmikanth Chatra, Dean, Dr Sham S Bhat, Vice Principal Dr Hasan Sarfaraz, Dean of Student Affairs Dr Maji Jose, Secretary of the Islamic Academy of Education Dr Akhter Husain and the Chief Guest Dr Vinitha Ramanath Pai, Director – PhD Center were present on the dais.
The Dean welcomed the gathering followed by the Chief Guest Speech. The undergraduate academic toppers of the previous University examination of I, II and III BDS were felicitated. The dignitaries unveiled the student council magazine Vaarnikah. Dr Laxmikantha Chatra delivered the Presidential address. The Secretary of the student council, Ms Ayesha Ayub read the annual report followed by the outgoing President, Ms Farah Khan’s speech.
The new members were inducted by Staff Advisor Dr Varsha Upadya and the oath was administered by Dr Hasan Sarfaraz. The incoming President Mr Ahmed Thaha addressed the gathering, which was followed by a vote of thanks by the incoming secretary Ms Aysha Munha.
Council members Ms Ziya Zulekha and Ms Arunima Shyam compered the event.
