26-year-old Bank Employee ends Life by Jumping in front of Train
Udupi: An assistant manager of Syndicate Bank Manipal, ended his life by jumping in front of a train near Indrali Railway Station here on Monday, May 15.
The deceased has been identified as Appachi Ajay (26) Son of Shanker Ayya resident of Thelangana State.
According to the police, Appachi Ajay’s wedding was scheduled for the month of June. On Monday Ajay was went to Indrali Railway station and jumped in front of the Mangaluru – Madgaon passenger train. The reason for taking the extreme step, however, is yet to be known.
Ajay was working in the Syndicate Bank main branch as an assistant manager from the last two years. The police have informed Ajay’s family about the incident and they are on their way to Udupi from Telangana.
Udupi Town Police have registered a case and investigation is on.
