Anything We public inform regarding the problem is like spitting in the wind. It falls on us. Sooner there will be another pipe line burst will happen in Mangalore. I have already showed the photo of that spot to ex City Commissioner and explained to him where about in front of a Engineer and also in front of His Personal assistant. Also I showed the Photo to Mayor Harinath too. Rupture of the line is waiting for a Road Roller to cross over it. I am not going to tell where that spot is,but holding on that photo for future use. May be Mangalorean.com may need it when this pipe ruptures and another few days without water. Mr Richard is talking now,but when inform Him anything about water line problems He did not care to take action. These all Engineers are playing in the hands of Corrupt Politician of MCC. whether they are qualified Engineers or Politically appointed, who knows.

  • From Jay on Chaddi Out, Trousers In! RSS to Don New Khaki Uniform

India needs volunteers that will work with the poorest of the poor, in short – become a father Theresa by replicating the work by mother who will soon become a saint. Chaning of Uniforms, practicing lathi drill and making provocative speeches will not solve any of India’s problem, in truth it will make matters worse. The RSS has an army of volunteer man power, the resources, and intellect but lack the money to work like any of the worldwide charities and become like the Salvation Army, Red Cross and the scores of organizations we see in the West. If they really wish (without corruption and vested interest) I would suggest that they set up a bank/credit union in line with The Grameen Bank started up by Nobel prize winner Mohammad Younus of Bangladesh and do micro financing. Forget about uniforms, and use the 250 rupees as base capital of a credit Union, and then encourage every Indian donate 1 rupee a day for 30 days there instantly we have huge working capital. The BJP government can help by encouraging individuals and large Indian companies to donate both white and black money a get a small additional tax break when they donate monies to the “The Peoples Credit Union of India”. Imagine a multi billion dollar institution first coming to the aid of those farmers committing suicide, micro financing the poorest of the poor, it could work wonders and convert our land into a land of milk and honey. They the RSS will stand true to its name and gain the admiration, love and respect that they deserve of each and every Indian.

OK agreed… I have seen neither hair nor hide of since our Saudi days. But since he and I have been chaddi-dosts. Literally! Only difference was that he was ACTUALLY wearing shorts – the shape, flare of bells, L x B and volume is shown in pic 2 (Disclaimer: the pic is NOT meant solely for mere illustrative purposes) while I was wearing the normal shorts. Lil wonder then that he pulls my leg while I yank off his shorts – all on a daily basis.

This is a slippery slope. We can’t censor speech just because it hurts ‘sentiments’. In a free society, one has the right to mock any god/goddess or religious figure. Unfortunately, our media, judiciary and politicians have failed us by giving into special demands by one minority group. Let alone derogatory things, you can’t even draw a simple picture or cartoon of a religious figure. No stenographer has the courage to publish them either. This has encouraged bad behavior from other groups as well. In the name of ‘religious sentiments’ and ‘hate speech’, our stenographers and policy makers are pushing us more and more towards ‘Saudi’ model. Congratulations!!!! Job well done!!

Special kudos to Violet Pereira and others for taking lead and bringing awareness on this issue that we ignored as a society until now. This is an important milestone and will be remembered for generations to come. Transgenders may be a small portion of our population. But they are also human beings and they deserve respect. For every depressing news we hear from certain corners, the stories of parivartana and individuals behind this effort give us new hopes. Says the guy who is on his ‘sixth visit’ to Pakistan to promote his movie!! This proves what every self-respecting Bharateeya knew all along – The Bollywood intellectuals have a clear agenda to trivialize the threats of terrorism and mislead clueless Indians into believing that there is no such thing called terror!! They would tell you how Pakistan is a wonderful place and terrorism has no religion. Congress-Bollywood alliance is one of the most dangerous ideological challenge India faces today. This reminds me of a very famous quote by Lenin on the greediness of capitalists – “The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them”.

“My less educated worker makes 14,000 rupees…” – Joe D’Zouza Very interesting!! Back in 95-96, the starting salary for IT employees used to be approximately 7,000 rupaayees per month. If I am right, 1 US dollar was trading at approximately 33 rupaayees. Now, the USD is double the value back in 1995. Ignoring every other factor, this would have meant 14,000 rupaayees for an entry level IT professional. Apparently a ‘less educated worker’ seems to be making the same amount in today’s India. This shows how our earning power is moving in the right direction putting more and more disposable income in the hands of people. This is a great news. This also shows how and why people like Praveena Pinto can afford decent internet access.

It’s very painful and shocking to see how we have people in our society who don’t think twice before drugging an unsuspecting person and robbing his valuables!!!! They have absolutely no moral conflict in doing this to another individual. I’m glad that this young man is alive and I wish him a full recovery. Sometimes I wonder if we as a society are corrupt to the core!! Otherwise, how do you explain those reports after reports of our people walking away with chicken, sugar, petrol or other valuables from trucks met with accident on highways? These are not politicians or mafia gangs. These are ordinary folks and they find absolutely no moral conflict in stealing stuff!! In my own eyes, I have seen how entire families try to steal from trucks near goodinabali (panemangalooru). Our media report these incidents as if they are reporting some funny incidents. No moral conflict at all.

“Judgement endorses what Hadees and Quran say….There is no gender discrimination in Islam” – report quoting an intellectual from Bollywood. Yes – thanks for reminding us all how there is no gender discrimination, hatred or violence in those sacred texts. Everybody from Tunisia to Kasaragodu are wrong. All those scholars in Saudi Arabia and Iran are wrong. Bollywood is the only authority on these scriptures. smiles…. On a different note, ignoring all the anti-sanaathana rants by one Roy from ‘Beef Club’, I tend to agree with him in principle. State should stay out of this religious business. Every religious place has ‘sthala sampradaaya’ and those who don’t agree with those rules can stop visiting those places. Because, like almost every thing else in religion, these rules have no logic and focus on power consolidation. In some places, they stop women from entering. In some places, only certain types of brahmana people are allowed to do certain things. Are we going to have our courts rewrite laws for every temple, mosque and church? Oh well…

According to Surendra Jain when the canonization of Mother Theresa takes place in distant Rome this could spark conversions to Christianity in India? Is he implying that the Hindu people are so week in their faith that when a nun gets canonised thousands of miles away, people locally would change their religion? If that’s the case then very simply his organization should start canonizing the local population, and all would revert ALL back to Hinduism, including Surendra Jain who is a Jain by faith and a convert himself to Jainism? What a great idea to get ALL the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan & Bangladesh back to the same fold, this would solve the Kashmir problem and perhaps all these countries would now want to rejoin India? Currently, we have over 70 varieties of veg and Non-veg masalas sourced from various places in our shop. We have displayed all these varieties on limited quantities so as not to crowd the place and the shop looks aesthetic and clean. However it will be our endeavour to add more speciality masalas from all over the country. We value your opinion and thank you for the feedback.

  • From Max and Jessie Rasquinha on Teresa's canonisation portends more conversions: VHP

Cannonization of Blessed Mother Theresa to Sainthood is a very special event in the Secular life of Mother India. The World of goodwill has looked upon India as a rich nation in the history of Religion, Culture, Diversity, and also nobility because the people of India have proved themselves as peace loving and dedicated people in spite of all our short-comings ever since India was liberated by the British. The World has stood by with India in every step of the way by empathizing India’s growing problems of poverty, population density and so many other deficiencies that are one too many, yet the Nation deserved all the support so that we overcome our daily miseries slowly and steadily. The World at large has welcomed every Indian wherever they went for Education and Professional enrichment because they placed their highest trust and confidence in an Indian regardless of their faith, their color, their accents and much more. Saint Mother Theresa’s canonization is a Sacred event for India. Saint Mother Theresa does not have to create any miracles, but because she has touched and reached out millions of rich as well as poor in India for more than 80 years of her dedicated charitable life in India, her Sainthood will bring a new enlightenment in the minds of all Indians in their daily endeavor of life. India is a great country, and this greatness has to be enriched further by each of our noble thoughts and respects towards this Saint who happens to be an Albanian by birth but she spent all her life in India taking care of the people, rich and poor, and showing them the pathway of peace and harmony. Sending a delegation to Vatican for the canonization of Saint Mother Theresa is indeed a noble act on the part of secular India to whom we have the biggest respect and admiration for all that this noble nation stands for, and for all the secular values that we have possessed even before the arrival of Saint Mother Theresa to India. God bless our leaders of India for their noble feelings towards this greatest event that India has been bestowed by the canonization of Saint Mother Theresa. “Dhanyawadh”.

Dr. Prabha Adhikari has done exceedingly well for herself and the elderly section of Mangalore by her innovative efforts in that direction. A Gold Medalist as MD student she was a humane doctor right from the day one I knew her as a student. She will be a role model for all future budding doctors by her example of “Patient care is CARING for the patients”culture. Her husband, who was Dean of KMC in the past, is another role model for students. God will bless her abundantly for her sincere efforts. I add my blessings to a student who has excelled her teacher. “A kind gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal.” ― Steve Maraboli, Life, the Truth, and Being Free love, bmhegde

I know that some illiterates on this forum have been making fun of Sri Modiji’s ‘Mann ki baath’. Haters will always be haters. Fortunately, Modiji seems to be a man of actions and doing his best to bring about changes. Haters have been attacking him even before he came to power. They want him to do the miracle of fixing all the issues created by the party they voted for – Congress!! Here are two incidents highlight how he is a man of actions unlike his predecessors who lacked confidence and political courage to do the right things. http://www.ndtv.com/india-news/task-force-to-be-set-up-for-next-3-olympics-announces-pm-modi-1450868 http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/india-in-olympics-modi-forms-task-force-to-plan-for-next-three-olympics/article9037187.ece

“mann Ki Baath…” – RampaNNA Kallivalli Monkey Baath, man. For me, RampaNNA ki Baath is more interesting as I’m learning ‘more and more’ about me such as: [1] My Yumreeki ‘Bheeza’ was rejected. [2] I don’t know jack**** about his beloved Murudu statues while he knows all about Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio. [3] I was working in Saudi and put up in a 10 x 10 foot room with some 10 others (while conveniently forgetting that Rampa himself was occupying the top-most bunk-bed out there. [4] I own/run a Beedi business in M’lore. [5] With the help of NASA, the FBI, a Walmart Crystal Ball and Google, Rampa has ‘discovered’ that I recently have found a ‘new job’ at Pilikula (which incidentally allows me the privilege of reinstating my net connection and exchanging pleasantries with Lard Rampa on a daily basis. Thank God for RampaNNA Ki Baath.

Roy – It’s okay to ask me a question on a topic. However, I don’t understand why you have to be dishonest and misrepresent my views. For example, look at how you framed your question on Mother Theresa Orphanage and my past comments. Why did you add ‘homosexuals’ at the end? I remember commenting on the story when Orphanage refused to accept new guidelines governing adoption. The Govt guidelines never talked about homosexual couples. In fact, it is not even recognized by law in India!!!! However, new guidelines allowed single people adopt orphans. Mother Theresa Orphanage was against it and I thought it was a discrimination against single people. As far as surrogacy goes, every society is struggling to address this new social phenomenon. If the new bill bars some of the groups you mentioned, I am opposed to it. However, these guidelines have more to do with legal issues surrounding surrogacy than ‘moral’ issues with the exception of homosexual couples. Many societies don’t want to deal with legal issues associated with surrogacy and they take the easy route of banning it!!

  • From Max and Jessie Rasquinha on Mangaluru Port will be Given Priority Madhwaraj During Felicitation

Port of Mangalore is ideally located both geographically as well as economically to receive best of attention for further progress. With the presence of the Free Trade Zone with incentives for industrialization, the port will continue to play an important role in all facets of the growth and prosperity of the entire region. With the help of the Port of Goa in the North and the port of Cochin in the South, Mangalore has all the scope for future prominence. The expansion of the Airport as well as the expansion of the Railway, the entire region will continue to attract new prospects of growth in manufacture, technology and all the relevant logistics. The State Government as well as the Central Government have a dual role to play in the Port development because the Sea Port is the lifeline of major logistics that will brig in new jobs, new economic prospects and much more. We were born in Mangalore when there was no sea port or airport. All that we had was a regular bus station at Hampankatte and the Railway station at the same old place with one track. The times have changed with growing population with education and literacy. This is the time for us to rise and pave way for progress for our future generation.

When personalalities like Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa and Dr. A.P.J. Kalam died they did not leave any personal wealth. From what I have heard from a friend of mine in Goa, Mr. Manohar Parikkar is different to the typical netas. He is well educated (studied at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai) and is a metallurgist by education. He is simple and down to earth and he lacks the swagger of the typical netas. As a Chief Minister of Goa, he did immense good for that place. However, his successor is not up to the mark and is in the habit of making irresponsible statements without applying his mind. Manohar Parikkar is far too superior to his predecessor, A.K. Antony.

The Police force are a backbone of our Community and Society. They maintain the Law and Order and help each Citizen to maintain their safety and dignity. While the Police Department recognizes public honesty and integrity, we must also recognize many times the dedication and service of the Police Department and honor them publicly for all their meritorious and selfless service. It’s a tough job to be a Policeman, but the toughness can only be smoothened and polished by our frequent recognition on all that they dedicate for the upkeep of our Community. A “salaam” to the Police when they are controlling the traffic, a simple “thank you” by greeting them while they are standing in a corner of the street watching the law and order can be a rewarding gesture to the Police so that they can do their job better with a smile on their face and satisfaction in their mind. Let’s select a “Police Day” once a year and felicitate the Police in a fitting way so that they know that we watch them and admire them in our own quiet way.

Some US cities have a high Muslim population where they build Mosque same like in some areas where there is high Hindu population where they build a Temple. The circumstance behind this video is that this hamlet has a high population of Muslims where no meat/ liquor was available during their fasting period & shops remain closed during their prayer times as most of them are owned by Muslims. So they held this to make a rule to stop this practice which was rejected by the governor. Please provide full detail every time & not partial

However, the beauty is that bureaucrats will grovel in front of him and carry out his biddings. Politicians are a special breed in India and not answerable to the people. Americans have a funny arrangement with probably the world’s worst terrorist country, namely Pakistan. Americans encourage and goad Pakistan to take action against terrorist organisations on her soil. Pakistan does that and periodically asks America, “We have taken action against the terrorists and killed 40 of them and we accorded decent funerals to the deceased. Well, the biling comes to so and so million dollars. How about releasing the money?” os Sadly, they do not have funds for education, health care, training and sending a full-sized contingent for the Rio Olympics, including their Olympic team, etc. They do not have $ 300 million to buy the F16s. However, when Nawaz Sharif goes abroad, be it official or personal (or trips for both purposes), he takes along a big entourage with him, including his friends and cronies, a masseur to knead his scalp with herbal and aromatic oils and thump his head …….. theek, thock …….. theek, thock. Investment towards a modern hospital in and around Udipi can be the best contribution that Dr. B. R. Shetty can make anywhere in India, particularly in Karnataka. Need for additional medical facilities of any kind in India will be a promising reward for Dr. B. R. Shetty and all his partners from the Arab World who are interested in diverting their investments for best causes in India. While the population is growing, and while the life span in India is also on the increase need for any kind of modern medical facility in India will bring promising results. The biggest benefit for Medical related facilities in India is the availability of abundance of human resources such as Doctors, Nurses and all other specialty personnel to do the job at a best and most convenient income benefit. It is so nice for Indian qualified medical resources to remain in India and serve their community as well as their own families too. This will be a mutually beneficial prospect in India for everyone. Thank you, Dr. B. R Shetty for your timely and thoughtful gesture in Medical related investment in India. This will be a most rewarding effort on your part in your own native land.

I wonder when so many things are going on in Pakistan and the world, why do educated and saner Muslims do not express their views and come down heavily on the fanatical elements. By the criminal and/or irresponsible actions of these elements, the name of Islam has gone down the drain and will go down, unless someone speaks up.

Original R. Pai, I wish to enlighten you about Dr. A.P.J. Kalam. Please be advised that Dr. Kalam was not a politician, but a man who could not get an entry into Indian Air Force to fulfill his aspirations to be a fighter pilot (imagine such a docile man, wanting to be a combatant), as he failed in medical tests. Then, he went on to becoy me an aeronautircal engineer. Though, he was not a nuclear physicist, he was very intelligent and better qualified to be linked with nuclear weapons and missiles than Dr. Abdul Qader Khan, a metallurgist by profession and, in reality, a rogue and a scoundrel, who stole nuclear secrets from a western nation and, later after Pakistan had the knowhow to manufacture the nukes, sold these secrets to North Korea and Iran to to make pots of money. The one and only nuclear physicist that Pakistan has, as far as I know, is Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy who is a very practical man, a professor in universities, is invited to talk on many issues. Being a scientist he gives scientific reasoning to everything, rather than simply saying that this has to be so and so, simply because it is mentioned in the Holy Book. Almighty God had not written any holy books and it was written by many personalities that came down the line. Though, we have to read these books and accept the good aspects about it but , many a times, it has also to be treated as a folklore. Man has also to use one’s reasoning and intelligence and his actions should be dictated by his conscience and whether what he is doing is right. When a so-called Pakistani Engineer took the country by storm by giving a demonstration of a car that can runs on water and he fooled Dr. A.Q. Khan, ministers and politicians and others who thunderously applauded and lauded him, Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy saw this on the electronic media and later on a television interview, he had the confidence and guts to tell that man, in presence of millions of viewers, that it is not possible to run a car just on water and this man is big fraud. Whereas, earlier the father of the Pakistani bomb, Dr. A.Q. Khan, was applauding and appreciating this man, without realising that he was trying to make a monkey of the nation. I have high respect for Dr. Kalam. He is non-corrupt, man of integrity and transparency in his dealings and, when it came to intelligence, no netas could match him. I would say that he was an Albert Einstein (of India). I also admire Shashi Tharoor and I do not want to get involved in the quagmire he has got into, simply because it is his personal issue. Since Dr. Kalam was not a politician but a scientist, there was no question of compromising himself for the sake of party’s image or party’s unity, BUT FOR HIM, HIS NATION WAS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE, RATHER THAN HIS FAMILY.

Before building a sky-walk the corporation should build good footpaths, so that pedestrains can walk on the footpath than on the roads. Train passengers have the rouge auto drivers to transport them. For the people who use the train on a daily basis are mostly from the southern most state of our country. The district incharge should also see to the road from town hall to the railway station (Central) which is in a pathetic state for decades. The Member of Parliament has no idea about this road. Even proper signal near Hampankatta junction and erstwhile clock tower will solve all the problems and there is no need for a sky walk. The sky walk is a plan to swindle tax payers hard earned money.

In general, I agree with the sentiments expressed by Nelson on Indian politicians. Almost all of them are corrupt, arrogant and useless. Some good politicians (example – Modi, Abdul Kalam, AK Antony etc) try to change the system. But, there are too many corrupt individuals all over. I should also point out how sometimes corruption is better than national threat. This is where Congress is more dangerous than BJP. Lately, the ‘vote banks’ politics of Congress is spinning out of control. On a different note, here is something for ‘Black Friday’ priest, AS Beef Mathew, Joker Pinto and other sanathana-hating folks who cry about ‘intolerance’ in India. I wonder if they will boycott US for intolerance!! LOL In Georgia, several hundred people gather at town hall to protest and stop local Muslims from buying land and building a mosque!! In India, Bakra Dutta and other stenographers would have made this a national level news for months!!! Here in ‘tolerant’ US, nobody cares!! smiles…

Another project to swindle tax Payers. There are two Sky- walks between Kannur-Adyar and BC Road. Neither one is used by Human accept by Pigeons and Crows along with Night Owls. For example I took an hour to see how many People Cross over on the bridge near Mosque in Kannur-Adyar on Friday after the Namaz(Prayer) Service. Surprise and Shocking result, not a single person used this Crossover bridge. With curiosity,I have questioned the few who were crossing the highway after Prayer. They answered with a laugh that they will follow Me if I climb those 30(almost 30 ft. high) steps at middle of the day. Even the weeds and grass is growing at the end of steps on both side of bridge. Good part is advertisers are benefits of this bridge. Now this bridge is given contract to the same Company called Nirmiti Kendra which remodeled Town Hall and did a screw up job remodelling Police Quarters in Shakthinagar. Communication Transportation and the convenience in the daily well being of mankind will bring satisfaction in the daily movements from place to place and make life simple and comfortable. Having visited so many countries much smaller with less knowledge and experience where they are so well satisfied with their daily life always made us wonder “why we in India cannot accomplish these simple amenities” ? Now we are becoming more consoled that India is moving forward in the right direction, and the people are going to get better comfort in their daily aspirations of life. Indians have been blessed with great deal of “tolerance” and “patience” and now we are going to reap the harvest slowly and steadily – “Thanks be to God”, and thanks to all our leaders for their foresight and their future vision.

Mr. Ramnath Pai, all politicians are the same. No one fights for their country, but for power, because power translates into many things, ego, illegal wealth, all perquisites, junkets, etc. If Congress had fought for the country, when Congress and UPA were in power what interaction did Dr. Manmohan Singh had with the people he ruled. He compromised himself to be a puppet and warmed the Prime Minister’s chair for 10 years and went on junkets with his spouse and, as the British say, had a jolly good time. Are these Sardarly qualities? So much for being an economist. If you are a true politician, go to the poor, listen to their problems and solve them. Give up your fancy cars for cheaper and functional ones, live in appropriate houses, live on earnings that you earned by the sweat of your brow, etc.

However, the funny and interesting thing is that 17 administrative officials and staff accompanianied them. I wonder if their Prime Minister and their Army Chief accompanied them in disguise like wearing a Sindhi cap or pagdi or skull cap, sporting a wig appearing like an unkempt beard and a tooth-brush or no moustache. Yes, if there was a category in Rio Olympics for the “exertise” or shall we say”crime” that you have mentioned, Pakistan would have qualified lock-stock-and-barrel, much ahead of Somalia (whose expertise is in “sea piracy”) and Colombia.

India could field their ‘bestestest’ BD/VHP goons and rest assured (no wildcats here.. oops.. I mean Wildcard entries), they would bring back ALL the golds, silvers and bronzes in ALL the categories! • From Original R.Pai on Declare Sangh Parivar as terror outfits - Block Congress

This is exactly why this battle will be won by Sangha Parivaara, not the Congress party and its allies. It all comes down to what your intentions are. What your ideologies are! Before I explain why these guys shown in report are wrong and intellectually dishonest, let me invite all the genuinely curious and honest people on this forum to read the 15th issue of Debiq, an online magazine published by Islamic State. This is probably as close as one can get to understand the true mindset and real motives of this organization without entering Syria!! In the editorial titled “Why we hate you, Why we fight you”, they do an amazing job of explaining their views. The clarity in their motive, thinking and the real caliber of people they have managed to recruit are quite scary and depressing!! In a way, this editorial is a direct ‘kapaala moksha’ to intellectuals like Bakra Dutta!! It destroys every excuse, apology and explanation you hear from ‘secular’ brigade. Here is the link: http://www.clarionproject.org/factsheets-files/islamic-state-magazine-dabiq-fifteen-breaking-the-cross.pdf Now, coming back to the recent death of one Mr.Poojary in the hands of a few criminal elements, let me make one thing very clear – the use of violence is absolutely unacceptable. Whatever be the reason behind the murder, the ones involved should be brought to justice. Nothing justifies violence except self-defense. As we look at this incident and calls from certain political factions to declare sangha parivaara as ‘terrorist outfits’, we HAVE to talk about motives and ideologies. Does Sangha Parivaara sanction and justify the killing of innocents? Is it an official stand of sangha parivaara to attack and kill illegal cow traffickers? Or, are these incidents due to some bad actors who failed to see the difference between rhetoric and violence? As any honest person would admit, the answer to these questions is a resounding ‘No’ with the exception of last one. This is exactly where Congress and its allies are falling short and destroying their own credibility. Sangha Parivaara can be blamed for its frequent rhetoric but not for sanctioning, supporting or justifying violence in the name of its ideology. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite – they reject and dissociate themselves from the ones committed crime. Still, Congress and its allies want to declare Sangha Parivaara as terrorist outfits. On the other hand, there are organizations and ideologies who openly declare their motives and support violence as sanctioned in their books. They take responsibility for the act after each incident. They don’t hide how and where they are getting their marching orders from. (That’s why I provided the link above). But, you will never hear Congress and its allies utter a single word on confronting the terrorist ideology. This is where Congress, its allies and secular media have lost credibility. I am all for true secular society where we separate religion from politics. I am all for applying the same secular standards on all religions and groups with a single focus on progress. As I have mentioned many times before, the religions are natural enemies of critical thinking and progress. However, you can’t achieve a secular society by selectively siding with religions. Sooner secular groups realize this, better for civilized societies.

So, I was this guy’s roommate in Saudi Arabia? Arnab Goswami personally knows me and makes it a point to criticize me in his shows???? And, he watches Arnab’s show on ‘mute’?? I’m all for free speech and human rights. Did Indian army make a few mistakes? Probably Yes – Nobody is perfect. BUT BUT BUT…..Let’s not kid ourselves here – We are NOT dealing with a honest group. The Amnesty international has lost its entire credibility by failing to stand up to real abusers of human rights. Where were they when Kashmiri pundits were attacked, killed and forced to leave their homeland? Where was Amnesty when a specific group acted like organized mafia, bullied the entire media and turned journalists into mere stenographers by threatening them not to publish any cartoons of a religious figure??? Watch the video clip below – Look at those filthy rats who had the audacity to raise anti-Indian slogans all the way down south in Bengaluru!!!! See how aggressive and confident they are!! I was surprised that they didn’t unfold a Pakistani flag!! This is the same group who refused to give 100 acres of land to setup shelter for Amaranatha pilgrims back in 2008. The entire state erupted into a violent protest because they wouldn’t even allow 100 acres of land to dirty Hindus!! Remember – civilized world has to win every time with these religious nutcases. These ‘peaceful’ guys need to win only ONCE – they take NO prisoners. Forget about human rights and free speech when they get the power. Joker Praveena Pinto and other clueless congress supporters need to keep this in mind.

For others, it will be a time pass or an opportunity to kill time. Netas will be running after these medal winners and those who lost by a whisker and take photos or selfies with them, as if they are know them from Adam’s times. The less said about these despicable creatures, the better. These netas have fooled the people since independence and keep on milking the nation, as most citizens in the second most populated coountry on the earth do not unite to unmask these sleazy scoundrels. This guy is an embarrassment. # State ministers from Haryana – These geniuses were in Rio using tax money to learn how to prepare if they were handed the responsibility to host similar sports event!!! And, since when did Times Now become ‘National Television’? And, WHY does the country WANT to know ALMOST each and everything that unfolds on his ‘show’? If I’m not mistaken, some 350 + million Indians are termed as “chronically starving”. Sachin Tendulkar is a cricketer or ex-cricketer who has never participagted in Olympics? Has our government, sports authorities, etc. lost their marbles to appoint this man as Brand Ambassador. Though, there are many ill-informed or ignorant enthusiasts who do not know or have heard the names of great cricket legends, they sing praises of a man whose test batting average is 53.76, whereas his contempararies like Jacques Kallis and Kumar Sangakkar have superior test batting averages, though they were no specialist batsmen, but all-rounder and wicket-keeper respectively. His supporters may say that he has scored maximum centuries and runs. Well, he has done that because he was playing in a modern era, where plenty of matches are played, plenty of money is at stake, cricketers travel by aircrafts and there are lot of vested interests. Sachin Tendulkar is not Mother Teresa, but an opportunist. If he was a gentleman, he would have blown the whistle and exposed the goings on in that mafia set up of BCCI. But, he too is benefitting and making hay while the sun shines. The man I admire is ex-cricketer, Kirti Azad, who has exposed this mafia set up. In cricketing history, there are many cricketers who have better averages than Sachin Tendulkar, in spite of having batted under adverse conditions, had to depend on jobs for living and whatever paid to cricketers was just minimal. Those days, there were no sponsorships, free gifts, at one time they used to travel by ship.

Well, true, he may not have the best of averages, but then, he has always remained a perfect gentleman – both ON & OFF the pitch. If at all he has been catapulted to fame, it is because of his tenacity, stupendous records, flair for the game, temperament etc. If he has made cartloads of money, it ain’t his fault. The game is such. Well, why didn’t he become a whistleblower? Hmmm……. I can’t speak for him, you see.

I extend my warm congratulations to Ms. Sakshi Malik who, by winning the bronze medal in wrestling, has done the country proud. Unlike cricket, which has never been played in Olympics or at International meets, wrestling has international stature. Before any Sports Minister attends Olympic Games, he should ensure whether he has done his job well, i.e. assuring the welfare of sportsmen, providing good facilities, infrastructure, perquisites and decent training and residing facilities. After that Sports Minister can attend Olympic Games and be on his best behaviour. He better watch, because these are the days of electronic media and indiscretions are exposed within a short time. However, he can take selfies, attend beach parties and have fun, provided he takes care of sportsmen’s needs and the money spent on him, spouse and flunke eys does not become a strain on the taxpayers. Just imagine a Sports Minister and his entourage travelling by Business Class, whereas the sportsmen who have to actually sweat it out travelling over a day by Executive Class. Any Olympic sport is any day superior to cricket. You just cannot allow wrestlers, boxers, etc. to sleep on the floor and cricketers and the administrators to enjoy like Maharajas or Hollywood filmstars.

I agree with the views expressed by Original R. Pai about Hollywood and cricket. Sachin Tendulkar, has played a sport that has no connection with Olympic Games and, again, what has Salman Khan, a Bollywood actor to do with Olympics? How come they are chosen to be Brand Ambassadors, when there are many retired sportsmen who had attended Olympics held in the past, including Milkha Singh? Then there is the Sports Minister, who goes to various venues at the Olympic Games with his sycophants and officials without accreditation cards and they misbehave with Brazilian and other countries’ officials assuming that since they are netas, they can do whatever they want and they are answerable to no one. They have to realise that impeachment proceedings have been initiated against Dilma Rouseff, a serving Brazilian President. Is that possible in India against any Ruling Party’s politician? The Sports Minister should be taken to task for bringing disrepute to the country which was aired by electronic media. Has he gone to Rio for taking selfies and beach parties? Did he go to the Copacabana beach? It appears that Rs. 10 million was sanctioned so that the Sports Minister and his spouse could have a fantastic time all at the taxpayers’ cost.

Mr. Praveen Pinto, For some reason, you do not like Arnab Goswami. However, this man has guts and is not in the back pockets of selected politicians and political parties. Do you know one electronic media’s honcho is related to an activist who ondopenly meets and socializes with Umar Mirwaiz, Syed Shah Geelani, etc. and, again, undesirable elements in the North Eastern States. She openly says that Jammu & Kashmir, the North Eastern States are not part of India. I expressed that twit my feelings and disgust, but she did not respond. What is the use of having a television interview with political figures, when the electronic media anchors get over-awed at their mere presence or enjoy freebies or defend that a student at JNU who, instead of having completed his studies years ago and vacating his dormitory, is going around the country and creating a shindig. For some reason, you do not like Arnab Goswami. – Mr. Nelson Oh well, not really. If you mean to ask me – do I hate him, it is NO again. It is just that he simply doesn’t give other people a chance to talk and outshouts them into ‘submission’. Earlier, I used to enjoy his shows. However, when his self-praise videos were aired, I kind-of grew tired of it and that was it! Nowadays, if at all I watch him, I ensure that the volume is on mute as I’m content admiring his tie and the cut of his suit. Nonetheless, I occasionally do watch his shows – especially if it has Paki guests on the panel. And oh… what got my goat was the ‘glorification’ of Shakthiman. Jeez, man… it was 20th April, 2016! I was surfing channels and settled on Times Now and what do I see? Lo – Garnaba Arswami in person – wearing a very very very dark suit (tailor-made for Shakthiman’s UNTIMELY demise is my best bet), misty-eyed, a sombre expression on his mug, a catch in his voice (Thankfully he didn’t have a handkerchief OR a beach-towel to dry his red eyes), his unusually high-pitched voice toned down a couple of thousand frequencies (ditto for the decibel level too)….. the works. For a moment, I thought somebody REAL important had kicked the bucket, OR worse – NASA had predicted that our Earth had ONLY some 6 hours to ‘live’ as a giant asteroid was headed our way @ 25 kms per second. ‘Noooooooooooooooooo……Eli eli Lama Sabachtani’ (My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?) was my first reaction! 🙁 Later I realized that it was a horse called Shakthiman. She deserves all the credit for achieving this – Not an easy task for someone from India. Why? Well, look at rest of the report and see how it lists a number of unknowns from Bollywood and their responses. Even when a talented young lady wins at international level, our media puts the focus back on unknowns from Bollyywood who are a big zero at international level. These kind of gestures will also bring new awareness in the minds of our Arab neighbors who will also find a new opportunity for investment on Tourism in India. Four hundred fifty crores of investment will certainly bring new landmarks in that region. Let the new investment on Tourism bring more tourists in the region creating more hotels, motels and restaurants with more focus on a cleaner environment with cleaner water and fewer mosquitos.

  • From Richard Thomas on Sports Policy to Come up by October - Pramod Madhwaraj

I believe the newly appointed Minister for Urban Development, Fisheries, Sports & Youth, Mr. Pramod Madhvaraj is a gentleman, who will do a good job in developing the infrastructure and cleanliness of Udupi Town and District a.) By keeping a tab on the activities of the staff in the M.P.W. and the Udupi Municipality, and carrying out periodical unannounced checks of the town and state of the infrastructure. b.)By controlling the export of good quality and size of fish to Goa, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, and whereas the locals in Udupi have to make do with small size fish and exorbitant prices. c.) By encouraging our youth to work hard at field and indoor games and excel at athletics – by holding training camps, competitions, sports meet, and last but not least rewarding them financially. d. By clearing all Pan Shops, and other unauthorized shops on the Ajjarkad Road and in and around Udupi town. e. By instructing Police to arrest drunkards and beggars found everywhere in Udupi town, and advising the Liquor shops not to sell loose liquor to labourers and all that simply destroys their family.

A very tight slap on the face of our Yumreeki Gau Rakshaka who happens to be our own Armchair analyst on almost all matters under the sun. He reminds me of another expert joker called Rahula ‘Shampoo’ Ishwara who is ‘invited’ to say his two bits on ‘Garnab Arswami’s’ nautanki show on HOT topics such as: 1. Which came first – the chicken or the egg? 2. Entry of Women into Temples/inner sanctum thereof. 3. Sedition, Kashmir, Pak infiltration etc. 4. Zakir Naik’s Speeches 5. India’s pathetic show at Rio 6. The dwindling Rhinos 7. Soaring prices of Dal, Tomatoes, onions etc. 8. Salman Khan’s ‘rape’ comment And on EVERY topic, our Rahula Baba emerges ‘victorious’ – i.e., AFTER Garnaba Arswami! Sigh! What can be done with such armchair analysts who sit some 7k miles away from Mangalore/india and yet yammer on and on……?

In response to the comment posted by Mr Original R Pai, I think it is just very hurtful and quite ignorant that someone would post such a meaningless comment, without knowing the exact facts. These foreigners don’t come to India to pose for pics with children, instead, they come on an adventurous trip to explore India and its beauty. At the same time, they are very courteous and caring towards the children of India wherever they make a stop on their journey. I have been covering this Rickshaw Challenge for the last three years when these foreigners make a pit-stop in Mangaluru, and it has always been a pleasure for me to interact with these “White People” (as named by Mr Pai) and have fun – these folks are fun people, and I love “White People” as well as Indians – being in the United States for the nearly 23 years, my bond with white people has been very intimate and fruitful. White, black or brown people – we are equal and God’s children. And I think MRT 115 and MLC 82 have been doing a good job in welcoming these innocent and friendly foreigners to their towns, thereby providing them good hospitality and gesture – showing that Indians do love foreigners and they mean a lot to them. Thank you!

As per this genius (Muneer Katipalla), if you support Indian army, it is a clear case of ‘goonda giri’. On the other hand, if you shout anti-indian, anti-indian army slogans, you are secular and a champion of human rights!! See, how far these ‘trojan horse’ members are pushing the boundary to peddle their true agenda. I recently posted a video on this forum to show how Kashmir people overwhelmingly support Pakistan. The display of Pakistani flags during those protests is not an accident. In fact, they would do the same in New Delhi and Bengaluru if we continue to believe in their deception and ‘taqiyya’. I fully understand why Kashmiri-muslims do what they do. The bigger question is – why do minorities living outside Kashmir are either silent or openly supporting this anti-national behavior. Where is their loyalty? More importantly, where is our media? Have they lost all sense of decency and courage to confront these elements and give us the full picture? This is really pathetic!!!

It was not just the area of Israel. It was the united opposition from Arab/Muslim world that made it look impossible!! Still, they didn’t give up and rest is history. Akhanda Bharatha may not happen for many many decades of even centuries. But the perverted attempt to shut down any conversation on our own heritage and history is a familiar tactic used by foreign masters. “…whoever is born in this country are all Indians or Bharatiyaru….Why should Christians or Muslims who are born in India need to do to other countries?…How come most of the Hindus are working in Gulf…..” writes one ‘Bhasker’ Shetty. Looking at how the name has ‘e’ in first name, there is a good chance that this is either Bob or Badruddin. I was actually expecting some ‘ajeerna’ responses to any mention of ‘Akhanda Bharatha’ and I wasn’t wrong!! Where exactly Dr.Tejaswini ask for minorities to leave India in this report? The fake-Bhasker talks about everyone born in India being either Indian or Bharatiyaru. If so, does he have any problem admitting that everybody born in Hindustan is a Hindu? And, most of Hindus work in Gulf??? Does this guy even know how to count? Most of the hindus are in India!!!! LOL Look – there are hundred different things I disagree with Tejaswini and other religious groups. There is nothing wrong in debating those points. However, misrepresenting and accusing her of saying things that are not in this report shows the level of dishonesty and lack of decency from sanathana-haters. There is nothing wrong in talking about akhanda bharatha. Remember – Jews never forgot about their motherland for 2000 years and finally they managed to get Israel back. Bhaskara Shetty and other apologists would have lectured Jews to forget about Israel and live all over europe!!! How do you teach these simple lessons from history to illiterates??

Remember – Jews never forgot about their motherland for 2000 years and finally managed to get Israel back”. – History professor from Yumreeka Ayyo RampaNNA, thun ambyar thavn kumbyar udthai ne re? The origin of Akhanda Bharatha (AB) was originated by Chanakya. At that time in 3rd century BC, the Indian subcontinent (emphasis on INDIAN SUBCONTINENT) covered what are now the modern day nations of Afghanistan, Pak, India, Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma and Bangladesh. In those days, it was ALL divided into umpteen INDEPENDENT kingdoms/princely states. Chanakya advocated the idea of AB – meaning ALL the states in the region were to be under one authority, rule & administration. To further his idea, he (Chanakya) powered Chandragupta Maurya to the throne and through war, wit and alliances, conquered (emphasis on CONQUERED) most of the princely states. After the fall of Chandragupta Maurya, it crumbled soon after. Emperor Ashoka tried to apply some band-aid to AB, but then, well…. we all know what happened to Ashoka. One wages WAR on INDEPENDENT KINGDOMS/princely states “covered” under the Indian Subcontinent (wonder if anybody had any true idea of what a subcontinent was back then. Oh, wise man Chanakya may have had…. smiles 🙂 in the 3rd century BC. (After all, Dritharashtra could ‘watch TV’ though he was blind as a bat!). Just for your info, the area of India in present times is some 1.269 MILLION sq miles. The area of Pak is 307,374 sq miles, the area of Bangladesh is 56,977 sq miles, 14,824 sq miles is the area of Bhutan, Afghanistan is some 252,072 sq miles…. and so on. Some 2 MILLION + SQ MILES.. pyareLALLU RampaNNA. So you guys want AB, eh? Ready to wage war? Compare that with the 8,020 Sq miles of modern day Israel….. encroached, through war or otherwise! On the other hand, we don’t see the Greek Chaddis raising some flag to ‘celebrate’ Akhanda Greece Day. Oh well, and my manko (frog) is in the guvel (well). Any lessons learnt, RampaNNA? Or do I have to pound in some MORE Indian history into that boilerplate skull of yours? Ask.. and ye shalt receive! 🙂

I fully AGREE with the kind words of appreciation of Max & Jessie Rasquinha about the St Agnes Special School. It was the pioneering effort of the Apostolic Carmel which saw these special children blooming into self-managing adults and no more a source of worry and anxiety to their parents. It has been and continues to be an extraordinary endeavor. With over 300 students under its care , not all of whom are capable of contributing the very moderate school fees, this wonderful institution soldiers on hoping to be noticed and supported by all who have a concern for these God’s special children. The performance the children gave this morning was AMAZING to say the least. For me it was my Best Independence Day celebration in a long time . By the way, I was CMD of Bank of Maharashtra a p ublic sector bank like Syndicate Bank( my parent bank) and not of Syndicate Bank .

Visiting Roshni Nilaya is always a “home coming” feeling for me because it reminds me as if I am visiting Mr. and Mrs. Sreshta at their majestic mansion during my school days more than sixty years ago. The Royal mansion has now been turned into an Institute where hundreds of young students benefit each year with their Degrees in Social Sciences and related disciplines. I am also told that Roshni Nilaya also has a Degree program in Criminal Justice. Our grateful thanks we owe to Dr. Olinda Pereira (whom we are seeing for the first time in a black saree in the appearance of late Vijayalakshmi Pundit – Nehru’s sister). Our Sr. Joan would have been happy to see Dr. Olinda in this new attire. Along with Dr. Olinda Pereira we are also proud to see Sr. Jacinta and also Sr. Sophie whose invaluable services to Roshni Nilaya keep this dynamic Institute ever so vibrant with some of the bright students who will turn out to be distinguished leaders of the future. We are always proud to inform our American friends that our home in Mangalore is in the close vicinity of a famous MSW Institute and Fatima Retreat House, which address is more than enough to identify ourselves in Mangalore.l Thank you, Roshni Nilaya for your “Home Coming” celebrations. Keep up the good work. We always look forward to visiting with you as and when we come to Mangalore.

What a lovely joy to read this article and offer a whisper of prayer within myself for the wonderful job that St. Agnes Special Education School renders to the lovely children of all ages and genders. Its a heart moving feeling to notice so many children come from their respective homes and enjoy their whole day in the midst of other children under the loving care of the nuns and rest of the teachers. The talents that the children display and the expression of gratitude that they present each time is something that no words can describe. The noble work rendered by Sister Maria Jyothi whom we met first several years ago and thereafter Sr. Olivia and now Sr. Maria Thruthi is extremely praiseworthy. St. Agnes has done a wonderful job thru this Special Education display where hundreds of parents must be expressing their sense of gratitude each and every day as their child goes to Special Education school and returns home each day with a smiling face showing how they have performed their day’s program. This is a place I wish to visit each time when I visit Mangalore. Each visit brings tons of awards and rewards that are luminous but God has His own message to console, and that is all that we need for a well deserved visit.

I was a workaholc and spent over four decades working very hard and, if it was not for both of you, my life would have been a little drab, solving general crosswords, city crosswords, making as many four letter words as possible from the nine letters provided by the daily, using the letters, just once, to form a word. If my tally of words in excess of words required to categorize one as average, good and excellent and if I am able to make one word using all the nine letters, then I am a bit happy. That stung, eh? “….. when it hasn’t really happened”, eh? That reminds me – I have to remind you of something that didn’t happen. Look ya Rampa, from the Quit India Movt. of 1942, YOU have been screaming from rooftops about my allegedly rejected Yumreeki Visa. When asked for one iota of proof, you do the Politician’s Polka (One step forward, two backward and sidestep the whole issue) and to change course to deflect the heat, you start singing Keerthans to Shreemana Modiji. Over the years, in order for you to furnish one lil bit of proof about my allegedly rejected Visa, I have initially very politely and humbly requested you, then merely requested you, then begged you, pleaded with you, gotten down on bended knees with folded hands and then pleaded some more, and later I even went to the extent of saying Novenas for your proof. When poor Yumreeki RampaNNA couldn’t find any proof, I even went to the extent of threatening to sue you in your own backyard so that you would lose your Yumreeki Ration Card, SS no., Pension from St. Vincent De Paul/Red Cross or Crescent – (tick as applicable), Medicare, House, Pets, Pots and pans, RSS Chaddis, topi, lathi, your Stamp collection, Surathi, Women’s Era, Femina & Chandamama Magazines. But nope! HOW on EARTH could you come up with proof when NONE exists? Thoola ya, Enna Visa “reject” aayere, yaan ninna latpot Yumreeki Visa’g pasht apply malpod athaya, Rampa? Enchina poora Latpot budondittha ini mutta. Itthe mani bundh malpuvana? 🙂 And oh, remember that it takes two to tango, Mr. RampaNNA. We feel proud dear Fr. Denzil, that we selected the right person for the humble Award as an “Outstanding Community Leader” for the year 2015-2016. Simple as it might sound, we glimpse at the entire year of all that is taking place in our vibrant society of Mangalore. There is so much of progress in every corner of the Educational, social, religious and economic segment of India where Mangalore is playing an equally important role. Volunteerism is the Key in each and every creative activity that brings positive impact to our ever-growing society. There is so much to be given back to our community, and people such as you have an important role to play. Howsoever cautiously one may move forward in the day to day development of our community, there is much more to be done at the end of the day. Personal contributions from individuals such as you with first hand knowledge has lot to be endured in life. The personal sacrifices attached to all the day to day needs and wants is indeed enormous. All that we can do from a distance is offer our prayers and best wishes so that our community may prosper every step of the way and the people may be the best beneficiaries towards all that you venture in your daily life of endeavor. May God give you all the strength and courage in order to fulfill all that you aspire in your daily life.

Why should Christians or Muslims who are born in India need to go to other countries? Dr Tejaswini, I don’t agree with your statement that Hindus do not have any other country than India. How come most of the Hindus are working in gulf and Western countries and settled there, Hindus have settled all over the world. Do you mean to say that Hindus should all come back? Good thinking by a Dr….. ! Why are you trying to divide people in the name of Hindu, Christian and Muslims etc. Who are you anyway to tell others to go? Life is very short. If relentless honking has become a problem for drivers and others, then the best solution would be to remove the horns and replace them with bicycle bells or monkey rattles. If this is not done, the guardians of the law would be very happy, because the offenders would prefer paying “bakseesh” to them, rather than paying hefty fines. You know the police have their domestic obligations, like educating their children in the best institutions, buying jewellery made of gold or platinum and studded with precious stones. Most I.P.S. Officers have farm houses by the time they retire. From where do they get the money?

Just happen to notice something funny in the list provided above by one Roy. Not sure who actually compiled the list. Some of the items on this list (American Football, Basket Ball and Saxophone etc) makes you wonder if this genius is clueless or what!! Why would you list American Football and leave out Kabaddi and Chess from South Asian category? Saxophone??If so, what about mridanga or African drums? LOL Look – this highlights the real problem with this kind of discussion. As I already pointed out, there is no debate when it comes to ‘scientific contribution’ by Europeans. But when white racists and their minions get involved in these debates, they start listing everything as ‘white’ innovation while ignoring contributions from others. I am surprised to see that they didn’t list hot dogs, burgers, french fries and Pizza in the list. In the eyes of these racists, other cultures had no musical instruments, sports or cuisine. LOL

No sane person will ignore the greatest contribution made by Europeans in the field of science. In fact, modern science and modern medicine have been entirely the creation of Europe. As I have said before, European mind is a scientific mind. Other cultures haven’t produced Newtons or Einsteins. At the same time, there are no Shankaracharya, Budhha or Jesus in Europe. They all came from non-European cultures. Other cultures seem to have an upper hand when it comes to philosophy, religion, moral values (again, driven by religion) etc. In my opinion, Europeans could would have achieved ten times more in science field if it wasn’t for the fall of roman empire and introduction of a new religion. It was the last nail on glorious Roman empire that produced so many brilliant minds. This new religion pushed the entire continent into 1000 year long darkness (dark ages). The amount of ignorance, anti-scientific views, intolerance, violence and xenophobia in the name of religion was astonishing. The European mind finally started realizing its true potential in 15th century when it started rebelling against this regressive, anti-scientific religion and its power structure. We all know what one Galileo Galilei had to face in 16th century!!!!What followed was one of the greatest scientific revolution that continues even today. On a different note, Europe has also been the evil force behind so much of destruction, violence, death, holocaust, genocide of so many different civilizations and cultures. While Europeans (read ‘Whites’) are high on scientific innovations, they score very low on trust. The amount of looting, crime and destruction in American continent (especially in South America) is such a shame. They are known for cultural imperialism and stealing resources all over the world. I think it is very important to keep this balanced perspective when we talk about any civilization. Unfortunately, characters like Steve King will only present one half of the equation and will never admit the other half. Again, this goes back to decency, honesty and trust. When you don’t have these qualities, there is no point in debating this topic.

Joker Praveena Pinto from ‘Beef Club’ continues to show what a genius he really is!! I commented on lack of basic infrastructure in ‘smaaaaaaart city’ mangalouru where streets don’t even have marked lanes!!! His response???? Well, true to his ‘beef club’ membership, he brings up an isolated incident of robbery from a different country. LOL LOL LOL See, this is the level of geniuses from Beef Club who vote for Congress while aping their foreign masters who are long gone!! Logic is not their cup of tea. Forget about any shred of decency and honesty! All they do is – hate sanaathana dharma, hate their own heritage, hate themselves and pretend to stand united with another group who are known for eating all of ‘chicken biriyaani’ leaving this group with nothing!! LOL For trained eyes, you know exactly what I am referring to. Now, watch Praveena Pinto struggle to understand these obvious references!! smiles…

  • From Praveen on Holy Cow! Vet finds 40kg Plastic Waste in Cow's Belly

Well written, Alfie. Now, the question to be asked is :- WHERE was Sharana PumpWell and those of his ilk when his Go’s were eating plastic from garbage bins? Why didn’t he engage the services of his unemployed RSS brigade when it was & is Momma’s Day OUT – EVERYDAY? Well, one doesn’t see Chickens, sheep, goats or pigs roaming around the streets of M’lore …… sightseeing and sampling the leftovers from garbage bins. Our blessed cows are….. man…. to be kept on an altar. Just look at the irony and chutzpah and gall and hollow-mindedness of the Go mata brigade to preach and DEMAND! Harrumph! And just wait and watch how our Yumreeki Go rakshak reacts, will you?

  • From Nelson Lewis on Send Indian Army to Karnataka to Protect Cows - Sharan Pumpwell

Sharan Pumpwell, to have an unusual surname like the Parsis and Bohris, must be hailing from a family having ancestral business in pumps. I hope his pumps are of good quality and pump well. This man, Sharan Pumpwell, displayed his lack of intellect by asking the Government to deploy the Army to protect the cows. He has to realise that Army is a highly trained, specialized and high tech force that has to fight modern warfares and not manned by riff-raffs like him, who exist on ……giri and ….giri. In fact, he and members of his outfit should be press-ganged to work as porters along with yaks to carry supplies in the Himalayas, Ladakh, Kargil and the North-East regions of the country. I wonder whether this Sharam Pumpwell understands what I have written and does he know what North East means and how many provinces comprise it?

Sharan Pumpwell.. to have an unusual name… – Mr. Nelson Oh well, what methinks is – he was pumping really well at Pumpwell (a place in Mangalore) during his teens and hence the name stuck. I mean, what else could a chap like Sharana do back then and that too in his heydays? Unfortunately, he can’t pump much these days despite his fancy moniker. Hence, he pumps …..up’s the ante against his fav – Go Maata. And Mr. Nelson, have you noticed – our Yumreeki is against ALL animal slaughtering. How groovy! Say, do you think he preaches the SAME out on the range – curled up in his hold-all.. while staring at the stars above?

So…people in police custody are allowed to go to star hotels and enjoy chicken-tikka? This is bad even by third world standards!! What’s worse is the reaction from Congress party and its minions in media!! The local politicians are from Congress. Ruling party is Congress. Still, look at the laughable responses from the party leaders and its supporters. They are acting as if they are helpless and unaware of police actions!! Media gives a full pass to Congress leaders on pretty much every issue from broken infrastructure to a murder investigation!!! LOL Imagine the reaction from the geniuses in media if BJP were to be in power!! Oh well…

Ok, let’s sit back and see how many on this forum and other outrage artists in India will start crying about ‘Intolerant America’!! Especially watch out the dishonest ‘Beef Club’ and its awkward silence on this issue. Don’t expect any outrage from ‘black friday’ priest or his friends. LOL LOL By the way, where are those silly, fake intellectuals who returned the awards or threatened to leave india? Moreover, why do these ‘khans’ from Bollywood keep going back to US even though it treats them like potential terrorists? Remember, these guys are very ‘brave’ when it comes to lecturing Hindus and India!! How do these groups produce so many geniuses?? LOL

Good job. But the penalty is too low. Just 100 rupaayees? Charge them more and use the money collected to improve our traffic situation. How about clear street lanes? We are in year 2016 and mangaluru streets still don’t have clear lanes marked. What a place!!

  • From Original R.Pai on Send Indian Army to Karnataka to Protect Cows - Sharan Pumpwell

It’s very interesting to see comments from one particular community lecturing Hindus on what they should do and what they shouldn’t do on this issue. Isn’t it ironic that they wouldn’t utter a word on another minority community that is behind all these illegal trafficking and illegal slaughtering. Remember, as much as I disagree with characters like Sharan Pumpwell, he is commenting on ‘illegal’ activities here. Any decent, honest person would denounce illegal activity. However, a common hatred towards ‘sanaathana dharma’ unites certain factions and bring out their true colors. After all, these are not known for decency or honesty!!

@ Joker Praveena Pinto – You continue to be the joke and joker!! My comment is on ‘illegal’ slaughtering and you bring up legal slaughtering!! LOL Moreover, it took two attempts to provide the correct link!!! LOL You are such an embarrassment. Finally, what’s the point in asking me about animal sacrifice? I’ve made it abundantly clear that I am totally against animal sacrifice and animal cruelty. Unlike you and many other dishonest guys from minority group, my opposition is not just limited to one animal or other. I’m opposed to all animal sacrifice!! @ Joe D’Souza – Your points are very valid IF you are against all animal cruelty and slaughtering. Is it the case? Or, you are simply making those comments for the sake of making comments?

    • From Praveen on Send Indian Army to Karnataka to Protect Cows - Sharan Pumpwell

“..you bring up legal slaughtering” – Maha Joker RampaNNA from Murudeshwara PyareLallu Rampu, the word “legal” was introduced deliberately as bait and the poor ‘mugudu’ (catfish) that you are – fell for it hook, line and sinker! You see, the point is – legal or illegal, it is Hindus – who swear that the Holy Cow is a mother to them – who run 4 outta 5 of the largest Beef export houses – all with the blessings of the powers that be! On one hand, we have Dalits who are beaten black, blue and EVEN flourescent purplish-green sometimes, when at times they are ‘caught’ skinning dead Cow/Buffalo carcasses. Some others are ‘caught’ transporting cattle for Dairy purposes and beaten to half an inch of death. Those caught illegally transporting cattle for slaughter should be dealt by the law and not some vigilantes. How ‘blunderful’ to see our RampaNNA quiet as a Church mouse on all the above issues. On another note, I bring up the topic of the US being in hock – a mile and a 1/2 over its gills – a mind-boggling 19.5 Trillion USD and our RampanNA goes on mute mode like his RSS masters. No wonder then that it is you who are the Joke, Joker and the applauding audience! 🙂 Bravo, Rampa! More, please. 🙂

Mr Sujith, just coming near the schools will not help. They should take action by calling the Traffic Police and Police Control Room Like I do always. Did you ever thought of making a call when those Konaje,Thokkotu,Ullal,Maroli Buses pass by your Apartment blowing their Loud Horns disturbing your peaceful living along with your family. How much disturbance it is, while You read Story Books to your loving Child. So from now on when you hear loud horn and speeding bus, please call 824-222-0800 or call Kadri East Traffic or give the number of that bus to Inspector Mr. Suresh Kumar who is very strict.
