Udupi: The Town Police Circle Inspector along with the SI of Malpe and his team busted a sex racket and arrested 3 youth and a woman, and rescued two young girls at Santhekatte, Kallianpur on Sunday, April 26.
The arrested persons are identified as house owner Chandrakala, and three youth Prajwal Kemmannu, Sunil Nittor, and Sathish Padubidri.
After receiving information from reliable sources, the Town Circle Inspector Srikanth, Malpe SI Ravikumar, and their team raided a house near Kallianpurowned by Chandrakala (wife of Ganesh Rao) and arrested 3 youth. 2 young girls were rescued. The arrested youth were handed over to the Town Police Station. Chandrakala was handed over to the Malpe Police. The two young girls who were rescued have been sent to a government-run rehabilitation home, said the police.
A case has been registered in the Malpe Police Station.
