Bantwal: Man Reported Missing during Tirupati Visit – Reward Offered to Finder

Bantwal: Krishnappa Poojary (46), son of the late Babu Poojary of Partippady in Kolnad village in the taluk, has been reported to have gone missing during a pilgrimage visit to Tirupati in Andhra since June 29.

He was among a group of eight persons who had left from here on June 24 and had reached there on June 25. At lunchtime, Poojary strayed from the group and has not been traced ever since.

A complaint was filed in the Tirupati Nagar police station in the vicinity. The group returned to Kolnad after having failed to find him after a search.

The next day, his brother-in-law and a few others from here went to Tirupati and looked out for him for three days and they have returned now. The family has offered a reward of Rs 20,000 to anyone finding him out.

He is 5’5″ tall and wore white shirt and white dhoti at the time of going missing. Anyone finding him may contact the nearest police station.
