Extreme Hairdos by Sapna Amin Impress MLBA Group

Mangaluru: Following close on its heels after conducting the “Extreme Makeover” by “Makeover Studio” personnel from Bengaluru few weeks ago, Mangalore Beauty Ladies Association (MLBA) conducted a one-day session on “Extreme Hairdos’ by renowned hair and Makeup artist Sapna Amin from Mumbai, on 16 August 2016 at St Sebastian Mini Hall-Bendore, Mangaluru. About 50 members of the MLBA participated in the session, and got helpful tips on various hairstyles.

Born in Mangaluru, Sapna Amin did her high school at St Mary’s College-Shirva and later did her BBM at MPMC, Manipal. Later she worked as a defect Analyst in Bengaluru, and after marriage she moved to Baroda, then to Udaipur, Ahmedabad, and presently settled in Mumbai. She did her full beautician course at a well-known academy by Rekha Sharma in Mumbai, and got appointed as a Makeup and Hair trainer in the same academy. She had participated in the Manish Malhotra show in Filmfare. She also did fantasy hairstyle course by Lata Kanchadani, who represented India at international Hairstyle Championship 2015 in Paris and won bronze medal.

Sapna Amin demonstrated the various techniques of hairstyle on seven amateur models of Mangaluru, step by step so the participants could grab the techniques. The whole session was displayed through audio-video presentation for better understanding and learning. There was also a question answer interaction with Sapna, where she clarified some of the doubts the beauticians had pertaining to hairstyles. There was also a talk given by the representatives of BioCare Hair products.

Mercy D’souza-Treasurer of MLBA welcomed the gathering, while Sony D’Lima compered the session and proposed the vote of thanks.
