KJU to Hold Quiz ‘Chanakya-2016’ for Students on Aug 6

Mangaluru: To mark the Journalism day, the Karnataka Journalist Union in association with the Information department is organizing a quiz competition “Chanakya 2016”, at the City Town Hall on August 6 said the president of KJU Sudesh Kumar in a press note, here on August 3.

The quiz competition will be inaugurated by Police commissioner Chandra Sekhar at 9:15 am, along with other dignitaries.

High school and PUC students from various schools and colleges from Dakshina Kannada District will take part in the quiz competition. For High school students the quiz competition will be held in Kannada language and for PUC students the quiz will be conducted in the English language. The vice principal of SDM Law college Udayanand and Lecturer of Bantwal Government college Razak will conduct the quiz for the students.

The prize distribution will be held during the valedictory programme at 4:00 pm.

Ministers, MLAs, MPs and others officials will take part in the programme.
