London, Jan 13 (IANS) English football club West Bromich Albion’s head coach Tony Pulis on Wednesday said that giving interim coach Guus Hiddink the credit for champions Chelsea’s revival this season is bullshit.

Hiddink took charge of Chelsea in December as Jose Mourinho got sacked even after winning the English Premier League last season.

But Pulis believes Hiddink is not worth the praise he is receiving now.

“To be honest, what’s been said is a load of c**p in lots of respects,” Pulis was quoted as saying by goal.com.

“The fact Mourinho won the league by a country mile – to say someone’s come in and changed it and they’re playing better and doing everything else better.”

“There might have been other reasons that things didn’t go so well this year.”

Pulis added sacking Mourinho was utterly disrespectful to the Portuguese coach and the players who won the title last year.

“But to put Jose down is completely and utterly out of order. It’s disrespectful to Mourinho and also the players that won the league last year, because they played some great football.”

Chelsea are presently 14th in the English Premier League table.
