Senior Citizen Dies in Collision of Bikes at Thumbe Ramalkatte

Bantwal: Two motorcycles collided on the national highway at Ramalkatte in Thumbe village on Sunday afternoon.

Hussein Haji (75), a resident of the same locality was seated in the pillion of the bike which his son was riding on the way to attend a wedding.

As they were waiting to cross over to the other side of the median, another bike which Ibrahim was riding crashed into their bike. Hussein was thrown to the road and was critically injured. He is said to have died as he was being shifted to a private hospital in Thumbe.

Khader, another injured, is being treated in a hospital in Mangaluru. Ibrahim is being treated in the Thumbe hospital.

A case has been registered in the Bantwal traffic police station.
