Son Commits Suicide after Mother’s death
Udupi: A 30-year-old man allegedly committed suicide after his mother died after falling down from the steps at Kadiyali on February 17.
The deceased has been identified as Ujwal (30), a resident of Udyavar.
According to sources, an elderly woman Rajashree, who was working as a helper in a hotel in Kadiyali fell down from the steps of the hotel building and died. The police informed Rajashree’s son Ujwal to come to the mortuary but he did not go to see his mother’s body since he was in deep shock. Ujwal unable to bear the death of his mother and jumped into the well near his residence at Udyavar and committed suicide.
The police are now trying to contact the father who is working at Gadag.
A case has been registered in Kaup Police Station
