Tarun Arora plays baddie in ‘Kathi Sandai’

Chennai, June 19 (IANS) Actor Tarun Arora, who was last seen on screen in Tamil action-thriller “Kanithan”, has been roped in to play the baddie in Vishal-starrer upcoming Tamil action-comedy “Kathi Sandai”.

“Director Suraj really liked Tarun’s performance in ‘Kanithan’. He felt he would be perfect for the lead antagonist’s role and immediately roped him in. He plays a role very different from the one he played in ‘Kanithan’,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

The film also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Vadivelu, who has teamed up with Vishal after nine years.

“The team has already completed shooting two schedules. The principal shooting should be wrapped up in the next two months,” the source said.

Produced by Nandhagopal, the film has music by Hiphop Tamizha duo.
