Taking a dig at the Congress government over the Lokayukta issue, BSY said that Congress has intentionally maligned the Upa-Lokayukta’s image. The Congress leaders are using Legislative Assembly Speaker Kagodu Timmappa as a tool to ruin the anti-graft agency by supporting the motion to expel Upa-Lokayukta Subash Adi.

The law and order in the state is witnessing a complete failure. Theft cases, murders are increasing and the government seems to be inefficient in enforcing law and order.

The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department has not initiated the process of preparing the action plan. The fund of 3600 crore is procured by the State Government from the Central Government by furnishing fake EC and the same is deposited in the bank account. CM Siddaramaiah has then said that he would be developing 100 villages under Gram Vikas Yojana but a list of those villages coming under the purview of this scheme is not yet prepared.

The Congress Government is busy in criticizing PM Narendra Modi which is condemnable; the PM has released 1540 crore rupees to the State for tackling drought. The government should first address the issues of the State and then criticize.

When asked about the rumors in BJP party of him being the BJP president of Karnataka State, Yeddyurappa said that he has been actively involved in State politics; he will be touring the State in the wake of ZP and TP elections. The intention is to bring back the BJP into power in the State. His return into state politics will be decided by national leaders, he added.

Shobha Karandlaje, MP Udupi-Chikkamangluru LS Constituency, Tingale Vikaramarjun Hegde, BJP District President, Suresh Shetty Gurme and others were present.
