Youth Arrested for Drug Peddling in Ullal, Ganja Seized

Mangaluru: The CCB police arrested an individual for peddling ganja at K C Road, Ullal here, on July 2.

The arrested has been identified as Abdul Nasir (19), a native of Mangalpadi, Kasaragod.

According to the police, on July 2, Abdul Nasir had been peddling ganja in the city. After receiving reliable information, the CCB police got into action and arrested Abdul Nasir near K C Road, Ullal along with 1.1 kg of ganja.

The police seized 1.1 kg of ganja (worth Rs 30,000), a mobile phone and a Honda Activa (Kasaragod registered), all worth Rs 81,000 from his possession.

Abdul Nasir was involved in various theft cases. A vehicle theft case has been registered against him in the Vittal police station and 2 other cases registered in the Manjeshwar police station.

CCB Inspector Valentine D’Souza, Sub Inspector Shyam Sundar and team participated in the operation.
