18-year-old Student Commits Suicide by Hanging at Padil
Mangaluru: An 18-year-old student committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Padil on October 6.
The deceased has been identified as Shawn Patrao (18) from Padil.
According to sources, on October 6, Shawn’s parents had gone out for shopping. When they returned from Shopping Shawn was found hanging to the ceiling fan.
The reason for the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
The Kankanady Rural police reached the spot. The body was lowered and sent for post-mortem.
A case has been registered in the Kankanady Rural Police station.
