Youth Steals Bus, Drives from Ullal to Udupi!
Udupi: A youth stole a bus from which was parked in front of the Ullal Municipality office on Saturday, October 5 late night.
The youth identified as Nifhaz stole the A R Travels bus route number 44 plying between Mangaluru and Ullal using a duplicate Key and drove it to Udupi.
The incident came to light on Sunday, October 6 morning when the bus driver came to the place where he usually parks the bus. The driver immediately informed the owner of the bus and also the Ullal Police.
The locals in Udupi on Sunday noticed the bus plying on the Udupi Manipal route displaying the Mangalore route board. They stopped the bus and inquired with the youth driving the bus and immediately handed him over to the Udupi Town Police. The Udupi Town Police informed the Bus owner who came to Udupi and took the bus back to Ullal.
The youth, Nifhaz was taken into custody by the Udupi Town Police and investigating is on to know the reason for stealing the bus.
A case has been registered in the Udupi Town Police Station.
