20-year-old Youth dies in Bus – Bike Collison at Bailur
Karkala: In a tragic incident, a 20-year-old rider died and the pillion rider was severely injured in a motorbike and bus collision at Bailur, Karkala here, on November 27.
The deceased has been identified as Nagaraj (20), a resident of Palli Kokaikallu.
According to sources, the bus was on its way to Bailur from Yarlapadi and Nagaraj on his two-wheeler was heading towards Karkala. When Nagaraj reached near Bailoor High School, a bus collided with his motorbike killing him on the spot. The pillion rider was severely injured and his condition is said to be critical.
The Karkala Town Police visited the spot and registered a case.
