Nejar Brutal Murder case Accused Praveen Chougule shifted to Bangalore Central Jail
Udupi: Due to security reasons Praveen Chougule, the accused in the Nejar family murder case was shifted to the Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bangalore from Hiriyadka Jail on November 27.
Praveen Chougule, who was under judicial custody in Hiriadka Jail since November 22, was kept in a separate cell under special security. The jail officials obtained permission from the Udupi court to shift Chougule to another jail due to security reasons.
After obtaining permission and direction from the superiors of the prison department, accused Praveen Chougule was taken to Bangalore jail on November 27 morning, under police security.
The Udupi police along with the accused reached Bangaluru and the accused was handed over to the Central Jail officials.
