22-year-old from Udyavar Commits suicide in Mangaluru PG
Udupi/Magaluru: A 22-year-old committed suicide by consuming poison at his PG in Mangaluru on Saturday, October 15.
The deceased has been identified as Royal Lewis (22) son of Rosy Lewis, a resident of Pithrody, Udyavar.
According to the sources, Royal was working in a healthcare company in Udupi. Recently, he had left his job and joined for a new job in Mangaluru. He was staying in a PG. On Saturday, he attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison. Locals who came to know about it, rushed him to the hospital. Royal breathed his last on Saturday late night without responding to the treatment. It is suspected that depression was the main reason for taking the extreme step.
Local Police are investigating the case from all angles.
