22-year-old Youth Drowns in Shibaroor River, Murder Suspected
Mangaluru: The body of a 22-year-old youth has been recovered in the river near Shibaroor Temple Soorinje here on October 4.
The deceased has been identified as Maqsood (22) from Krishnapur, Suratkal. Maqsood was working in MRPL as a driver.
On October 3, a group including Maqsood had gone near the Shibaroor temple. But while returning Maqsood was missing. There is a suspicion that the group that had accompanied him are involved in the drowning of Maqsood in the river. In this regard, a case was filed in the Suratkal police station.
The Suratkal police have taken four persons for questioning.
