227 Persons Test Positive For Coronavirus in Udupi District on September 10
Udupi: According to the district health bulletin, 227 persons have tested positive for the Coronavirus in Udupi on September 10 taking the total number of positive cases in the district to 13572 .
Among the 227 new cases, 119 are from Udupi, 42 from Kundapur, 56 from Karkala, and 10 from outside the district.
As of now, 317 throat swab samples are pending for results, 560 samples were sent for testing on September 10 and 384 samples were tested negative. A total of 67475 swab samples out of the 81364 have tested negative for the coronavirus.
The number of active cases in the district has now gone up to 1897. So far, 11552 patients have been discharged from the hospital after complete recovery, and 126 persons have succumbed to COVID-19.
