25-year-old Youth Hacked to Death in Bhatkal
Bhatkal: A 25-year-old youth was hacked to death by a group at a lodge in Shanubagh Nagar here on October 19.
The deceased has been identified as Afwan Jabali alias Navarang Muhammed Ali (25), a resident of Muglihonda Bhatkal.
According to the police, on October 19, at around 9:30 pm, Afwan was brutally murdered by a group of four persons in the lodge. Afwan was forcibly taken to the lodge by the group at that time Afwan had informed his brother to rescue him.
As soon as Afwan’s brother received the call, he rushed to the lodge, but by that time the group had killed Afwan and fled.
A case has been registered in Bhatkal Police station and investigation is on.
