28-year-old youth Dies in Road Mishap at Bikkarnakatta Kaikamba
Mangaluru: A 28-year-old youth died and the pillion rider was injured in a road mishap at Bikkarnakatta, Kaikamba here on September 9.
The deceased has been identified as Dilip Dar Trivedi (28) a native of North India and the injured has been identified as Arif Warfi.
According to the police on September 9, Dilip along with the pillion rider Arif was returning from B C Road after finishing their work. Near Konkan Bar at Bikkarnakatta Kaikamba, a two-wheeler from the side road suddenly entered the main road. To avoid hitting the two-wheeler, Dilip applied the brakes, lost control of the bike and was thrown to the road. A city bus route number 30 which was behind him ran over Dilip. Dilip was immediately rushed to the City hospital where he succumbed to injuries at 3:50 pm.
A case has been registered in the Kadri Traffic police station.
