56-year-old man Commits Suicide after Wife and Son Test Positive for Coronavirus
Bengaluru: A 56-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself after his wife and son tested positive for the coronavirus, at Soladevanahalli here on July 21.
The deceased has been identified as Nagaraju (56) from Doddaballapur.
According to sources, recently Nagaruju’s son was tested positive for the coronavirus. Later, when his wife was tested, she too tested positive for the virus. The health officials then sealed down the area where Nagaraju’s family was residing.
Soon after the area was sealed down, Nagaraju’s neighbours began to misbehave with him. Nagaraju unable to bear the insult, committed suicide by hanging himself to a nearby tree.
The Soladevanahalli police have registered a case and are investigating.
