70-year-old from Davangere Dies of COVID-19 in Udupi Hospital
Udupi: A 70-year-old man, native of Davangere who had come to Udupi for treatment died at a private hospital on July 10.
According to the health officials, a 70-year-old person from Davangere who was suffering from various health issues was admitted to a private hospital in Udupi on July 9, and breathed his last on July 10 night. The hospital conducted the COVID-19 test on him and the result came out positive on July 12.
The final rights will be held in Udupi as per COVID -19 protocol.
