“Our dream was to create a world-class campus for the Management and IT programmes of St Aloysius College, Mangaluru. This dream has been realized with our new campus at Beeri, Kotekar. The MBA, MCA, M.Sc. (Software Technology), M.Sc. (Bioinformatics) and PGDCA programmes have been shifted to this new campus, which hosts around 750 students, 300 of whom are resident here. The new campus has excellent facilities. The Admin Block, Academic Block, student residences, food court, faculty housing, and the Jesuit residence have been completed in the first phase.
There is also an air-conditioned auditorium, two large halls, a library and multiple computer labs. The library and the computer labs are open till 11 pm, which is of great help to students. The campus has a serene ambience thanks to the lush green surroundings. Students also have access to a well-equipped gymnasium and other recreational facilities. Keeping in mind the overall development of our students, a number of programmes are organised to improve their personalities, and make them better professionals and entrepreneurs who will be assets in any organisation.
Our students excel in studies, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities both within, and at inter-collegiate events across the country. The MBA students organize INSIGNIA, the MBA fest; MANASAMANTHANA, the paper presentation competition; the rural marketing fair, SANJEEVINI, the blood donation camp and PRAGATHI, a symposium on development. The IT students organize EPITOME, the IT fest; INFOVISION, the IT Exhibition; ANVEEKSHA, the paper presentation competition, and a host of other programmes to enhance the skills and expertise of our students.
The Placement Cell has been doing excellent work in recent years. At AIMIT we encourage students to follow their curiosity, explore new things and ideas, have informed opinions and discover their own capabilities. We look forward to welcoming our next batch of students. We always Believe in the Best”

Big data analytics sector in India is expected to witness eight-fold growth to reach $16 billion by 2025 from the current $2 billion, as per the opinion of industry experts. The sector is expected to reach $16 billion by 2025 and register CAGR of 26 per cent over next five years. According to the experts, India is currently among top 10 big data analytics markets in the world and NASSCOM has set a target of making the country one among the top three markets in the next three years. Most enterprises also grappled with the coexistence of data warehouses and big data lakes. Telecom firms and banks were among the first to move towards big data. Prior to stepping into big data, they were primarily driving their reporting systems through data warehouses with a variety of data management tools. As companies further explored extracting more value from their big data investments, it led to the rise of two major trends in big data: data monetization and Analytics as a Service. The big data architecture became more compact and abstracted heavily from end users. Data monetizing also played a role in another important transformation of big data.
During these two years programme the candidate will be exposed to the Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology and various Big Data Technology concepts. There course includes Theoretical instructions from the faculty, Practical learning, experiential learning through case studies, Research projects related to Data Science and it application and Industry Internship.
