All India Inter University Ball Badminton Tournament-2020- MU pierce semifinal EIGHT times
Moodabidri: The Mangalore University entered semifinal league stage for the eight times at the All India Inter University Ball badminton Tournament, held at Alva’s college, Vidyagiri. Along with Mangalore University other teams qualified for the semifinal league stage are Andhra University, Vishakapatnam, University of Madras Chennai, SRM University of Science & Technology, Tamilanadu.
On the fourth day of the tournament, Mangalore University held upper hand by defeating Bharatidasan University, 35-25, 33-35, 35-16 difference. In other quarter final matches, Andhra University of Visakhapatnam beat BSAR Crecent Institute of Science & Technology by 35-13, 35-04 direct set, while University of Madras, Chennai debacle Adikavi Nanayya University of Andra Pradesh by 35-21, 21-35, 35-26 and SRM University of Science & Technology overthrown MK University , Madurai by 35-26, 35-22 lead.
