Amulya’s Father had links with Naxals – MP Shobha Karandlaje

Udupi: Condemning Amulya Leona for shouting pro-Pakistan Slogans at an anti-CAA rally in Bengaluru, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Krandlaje alleged that the father of Amulya had links with Naxals.

Shobha Karandlaje speaking to media persons in Udupi on Friday, February 21 said, “Amulya’s father basically from Koppa had links with Siriman Nagaraju and other Naxal supporters”.

Addressing the mediapersons Shobha Karandlaje said, “A team has been formed by anti-nationalists to shout pro Pakistan slogans. There was a conspiracy to disturb peace and harmony in the state. Legal action would also be taken against the organisers of Thursday’s anti-Citizenship Amendment Act rally. Unless stringent laws are in place to take action against anti-nationals, these incidents will continue. The ‘Deshdrohis’ (anti-nationals) should not be pardoned. Sedition charges should be pressed against her”, she demanded.

Shobha further said, “Importantly, without taking action against the organisations that are behind those like Amulya and nurturing them, such things won’t end. Prima facie it is clear that there is a conspiracy to disturb law and order with such incidents”.

Shobha also said, “If organisations that are behind Amulya will be investigated, the truth will come out. It is clear that she had links with Naxals in the past. In this backdrop, she should be punished and the action should be taken against the organisations behind her”.
